Šī pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt korelāciju starp patērētāju datu privātumu un starptautisko uzņēmumu priekšrocībām un to, kā tas ietekmē patērētāju privātumu. Autors apkopo un analizē teorētisko pamatu, izmantojot daudzus zinātniskus rakstus un žurnālus. Pēc tam pētnieka mērķis ir veikt aptauju starp 109 respondentiem, lai apkopotu ieskatu par to, cik plaši patērētāji rūpējas par savu vispārējo privātumu no starptautiskiem uzņēmumiem un cik labi starptautiski uzņēmumi respektē vai aizsargā savu klientu privātumu no digitālās attīstības. While the development of the Baltic corporate bond market is based on the uncovered bond segment, the elaboration of the legislative base has a devoted emphasis on the covered bonds. The shift from a country-focused to the pan-Baltic-focused capital market has been publicly acknowledged by the governments (Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Latvia, 2018) and is in line with the ongoing Capital Markets Union initiative of the European Commission (The High Level Forum on the Capital Markets, 2020). Starting with the study of judgments where European and North-American Courts have ruled for their jurisdiction over enterprises’ abusive conducts in foreign countries, this paper will investigate possible criteria of imposing liability on corporations, such as the duty of care, the enterprise liability theory or violations of code of conducts.

Abstract Forest-based businesses are the center of the transition to the sustainable and competitive circular bioeconomy in Finland. This study explores the transition of Finnish FBS firms to new business models, with a focus on the organizational resources and capabilities needed for transition. It also identifies the important elements in the business environment and the role of innovations in this process. The study uses thematic interviews with managers from various FBS firms and companies from interfacing sectors, all of which have operations in Finland. La ciudad de Valencia había consolidado su sistema fiscal a finales del siglo XIV. El arrendamiento de los impuestos indirectos desempeñó un papel clave en ese sistema, mediante un procedimiento de subasta pública. Durante la primera mitad del siglo XV, se confirmaron dos procesos relacionados: la monopolización de los arrendamientos por parte de una élite financiera, que a la vez retenía los cargos contables municipales; y la tendencia a la baja de los precios de los arrendamientos, en detrimento del sistema económico municipal. A novel approach to current transformer characterization in the presence of harmonic distortion

The current transformer (CT) performance under distorted waveform conditions is usually characterized by means of the frequency-response test. In this paper, a new way to characterize CTs, closer to real operation conditions, is proposed. The harmonic phase-angle and ratio errors are measured using a nonsinusoidal current composed of fundamental and one harmonic with adjustable phase shift. The new method was tested by determining the performance of two metering class CTs commonly used by the Italian power company.
