Abstract Current mobile service providers are offering Gigabit Internet access over LTE-Advanced networks. Traditional services, such as live video streaming, over wired networks are feasible on these networks. Abstract Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging has an enormous potential to improve radiation therapy treatment planning offering complementary functional information with respect to other anatomical imaging approaches. The aim of this study is to develop an operator independent, reliable, and clinically feasible system for biological tumour volume delineation from PET images. Adaptive feedback linearizing control of linear induction motor considering the end-effects

This paper proposes an input-output feedback linearization techniques for linear induction motors, taking into consideration the dynamic end-effects. As a main original content, this work proposes a new control law based on the on-line estimation of the induced-part time constant. The estimation law is obtained thanks to a Lyapunov based analysis and thus the stability of the entire control system, including the estimation algorithm, is intrinsically guaranteed. Fuzzy/Kalman Hierarchical Horizontal Motion Control of Underactuated ROVs.

A new closed loop fuzzy motion control system including on-line Kalman's filter (KF) for the two dimensional motion of underactuated and underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) is presented. Since the sway force is unactuated, new continuous and discrete time models are developed using a polar transformation. Finite-time boundedness for uncertain discrete neural networks with time-delays and Markovian jumps

This paper is concerned with stochastic finite-time boundedness analysis for a class of uncertain discrete-time neural networks with Markovian jump parameters and time-delays. The concepts of stochastic finite-time stability and stochastic finite-time boundedness are first given for neural networks. Then, applying the Lyapunov approach and the linear matrix inequality technique, sufficient criteria on stochastic finite-time boundedness are provided for the class of nominal or uncertain discrete-time neural networks with Markovian jump parameters and time-delays. -Infinity robust controller design for the synchronization of master-slave chaotic systems with disturbance input

By constructing a series of Lyapunov functions, novel H1 robust syn- chronization controllers are designed, whose control regulation possess the characteristic of simpleness and explicitness. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to demonstrate the e ectiveness of the proposed techniques.
