Graded Involutions on Upper-triangular Matrix Algebras

2009

Let UTn be the algebra of n × n upper-triangular matrices over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. We describe all G-gradings on UTn by a finite abelian group G commuting with an involution (involution gradings).

The structure of the state representation of shift invariant controllable and observable group codes

2000

AbstractIn this paper an investigation on the structure of the canonical trellis section of shift invariant, l-controllable and m-observable group codes is carried out. Necessary and sufficient conditions for a set of group homomorphisms in order that they represent the trellis section of this class of codes are established.

A simple algorithm for generating neuronal dendritic trees

1990

Abstract A simple, efficient algorithm is presented for generating the codewords of all neuronal dendritic trees with a given number of terminal nodes. Furthermore, a procedure is developed for deciding if different codewords correspond to topologically equivalent trees.

Article also available from publisher: http://dx.doi.org/10.1109/WCSP.2009.5371438 In this paper, we derive a non-stationary multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) channel model from the geometrical T-junction model. The propagation environment is assumed to be extremely non-isotropic. The proposed channel model takes into account double…
