Our contribution deals with computer-mediated communication, especially social networks. Our main task is to answer the question if sexuality in the context of new media continue to be perceived as a taboo. Based on examples of different types of selfies, we try to prove that the perception of sexuality in the context of computer mediated communication is constantly changing and ceases to be a taboo topic. Proof of this constatation is different types of selfies, which the author divides into three main categories: selfies revealing intimate parts of human body, selfies showing underwear and selfies that reveal the sexual act itself.

In e-commerce retailing (e-retailing), where competitors are only one click away and prices are easy to compare, providing superior customer service and reciprocal communication via a company’s website are important aspects of attracting and retaining customers.
