2021
This work aims to answer the eternal question of the disinheritance of the child under legal age. To this end, we will approach the institute of disinheritance, its foundation and its jurisprudential evolution. We will also address the capacity and responsibility of the child under legal age and the emancipated minor. Subsequently, we will carry out the study of the disinheritance of the child under legal age, subject to the whim of the specific disinherited causes, since each of the causes provided for in art. 853 Spanish Civil Code are endowed with their own idiosyncrasy, being very complicated, if not impossible, to deal with the subject of this work apart from the vicissitudes that can …

“The Churches overtook politics”. The contribution of religious factors and faith-based initiatives to Polish-German reconciliation
2022
Abstract More than half-century long process of reconciliation between Poland and Germany can be recognized as one the most exceptional contemporary examples of the rebuilding of relations both socially and politically. The fact that the reconciliation process between “eternal enemies”, Poland and Germany, succeeded is considered in metaphysical categories a ‘miracle of reconciliation’. This article aims to outline the contribution of the religious element as a significant factor in t…
Religijne budowanie pokoju (religious peacebuilding): rola religii w rozwiązywaniu konfliktów
2016
In relation to the evolving nature of armed conflicts, the so-called „soft aspects” of peacebuilding have been gaining significance in the last few decades. The hitherto dominant perspective based on solid features of structural and institutional development is being extended in the direction of appreciation of one’s viewpoint, manner of perception by individuals and interpersonal relations. In this approach, subjects remaining in conflict (perceived both individually and as a group) are regarded as means and goals that make achievement of permanent peace possible. It is assumed that efficient peacebuilding is only possible through understanding the way of thinking and feeling by conflictin…

2021
The conflicting historical issues and their school approach: a Spanish example
2017
Young women’s contradictory expectations and their perceived capabilities for future work-family reconciliation in Finland
2022
This paper explores young women’s expectations on future work-family reconciliation in Finland, a Nordic country well-known for the promotion of gender equality. Utilising Sen’s capabilities approach, we content-analysed thirty individual interviews to identify differences in women’s expectations and their perceived capabilities in future work and care. The results showed that irrespective of their labour market status and educational attainment, the women’s expectations were contradictory, reflecting a current Finnish gender culture that embraces both the ideal of shared parenthood and the primacy of maternal care. Between-group differences were also found. The employed women perceived the…
