In the Finnish Studies Programs at two North-American universities, Finnish language students have collaborated online and participated in informal virtual conversational coffee hour meetings. These meetings are offered to complement students’ collaboration conducted during regular language classes. This  research  is  done  in  order  to  examine  the  role  of  the  brand  capital  in higher education. The COVID pandemic is forcing the renewal of scientific conferences, offering opportunities to introduce technological and inclusive developments. Our analysis focuses on the implementation of inclusive practices for female and early-career researchers in a virtual scientific conference. This organization approach was applied in the XIII Spanish Optical Meeting (RNO2021), which was also characterized by avatars interacting in an online metaverse. The effectiveness of inclusive policies and novel technological tools was evaluated using the participation data and a post-conference survey. Šī pētījuma galvenais mērķis ir noteikt Forbes konferences rakstveida žanrus, to retoriskos posmus un soļus (moves and steps). Astoņas konferences no Forbes tiešsaites kalpoja kā pētījumā prieksmets, lai izpētītu tai raksturīgus žanrus. Darba pirmā daļa balstās uz sekundāro avotu izpētī par žanriem, intertekstualitāti, retorisku posmu un soļu struktūru. Otrājā daļa ir aplūkota empiriskā daļa, kas ietver sevī konferences rakstveida žanru noteikšanu, to posmu un soļu struktūru un to lingvistisko iezīmju analīzi.
