His theory of historical materialism is the basis of his general vision of reality with the principles of “self-consciousness” and “class consciousness”. I am trying to show that the author of Metapolitics (Métapolitique messianique) and of other philosophical and mathematical works was much ahead of his contemporaries concerning his ideas about evolution and these ideas, although expressed in a somewhat archaic and obscure language, are still valid for us today. In the eyes of a considerable part of society man has lost his divine image, his place in the system of universal value. Consciousness of the loss of sense, the loss of absolute values forms a peculiar background for the cultural processes of the twentieth century. Synthetic phenomenology is presented on the basis of the issues in A.I. and Robotics that required to address the question of what enables artificial agents to have phenomenal access to the environment.
