Este análisis se realiza en tres momentos: el primero se sitúa en la introducción y muestra que es un concepto importante en el que convergen la fenomenología, el personalismo y la hermenéutica. The eastern Tibetan margin is characterized by a steep topographic gradient and remarkably lateral variations in crustal/lithospheric structure and thermal state. GPS measurements show that the surface convergence rate in this area is strikingly low. How can such a mountain range grow without significant upper crustal shortening? Threshold Neutral Pion Photoproduction on the Proton

The neutral pion photoproduction on the proton near threshold has a very small scattering cross section when compared to the charged channels, which in ChPT is explained by strong cancellations between the lowest order pieces. Therefore it is very sensitive to higher-order corrections of chiral perturbation theory. We perform a fully covariant calculation up to chiral order p^3 and we investigate the effect of the inclusion of the Delta(1232) resonance as an explicit degree of freedom. We show that the convergence improves, leading to a much better agreement with data at a wide range of energies.

An adaptive multimeme algorithm for designing HIV multidrug therapies.

This paper proposes a period representation for modeling the multidrug HIV therapies and an Adaptive Multimeme Algorithm (AMmA) for designing the optimal therapy. The period representation offers benefits in terms of flexibility and reduction in dimensionality compared to the binary representation. The AMmA is a memetic algorithm which employs a list of three local searchers adaptively activated by an evolutionary framework. Reaction-diffusion on dynamic inhibition areas: A bio-inspired link scheduling algorithm

We present the Dynamic Inhibition Areas Reaction-Diffusion (DIA-RD) algorithm, a distributed medium access control protocol that globally maximizes the spatial reusability (number of simultaneous transmissions per unit area) of wireless sensor networks. This algorithm is able, in consequence, to minimize the number of time slots needed to schedule the set of demanded links, making it very efficient to solve the Shortest Link Schedule problem. Postprocessing of a Finite Element Scheme with Linear Elements

In this contribution we first give a brief survey of postprocessing techniques for accelerating the convergence of finite element schemes for elliptic problems. We also generalize a local superconvergence technique recently analyzed by Křižek and Neittaanmaki ([20]) to a global technique. Finally, we show that it is possible to obtain O(h4) accuracy for the gradient in some cases when only linear elements are used. Numerical tests are presented.
