How the unbanked cope with financial exclusion: Evidence from Pakistan

This article investigates both the coping strategies employed by low-income unbanked consumers in Pakistan and the consequences of those strategies. Qualitative data were gathered from low-income unbanked consumers through in-depth interviews. The findings suggest that unbanked consumers utilize their respective social networks and various market and personal resources to cope with financial exclusion. A decade-scoping review (2007–2017) was conducted to systematically search and synthesize evidence to understand the intended and unintended consequences of eHealth initiatives, informed by a health equity impact assessment framework. The common sense model of illness self-regulation outlines the dynamic processes by which individuals perceive, interpret, and respond to health threats and illness-related information. Anotācija Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt sakarības starp stresa pārvarēšanas pašefektivitāti, pārliecību par taisnīgu pasauli, darba zaudējuma kognitīvā novērtējuma dimensijām, sociāldemogrāfiskajiem faktoriem un depresiju 209 bezdarbnieku izlasē vecumā no 45 - 61 gadiem, un pārbaudīt, vai pastāv atšķirības pārliecību sistēmā starp bezdarbnieku grupu ar un bez depresijas simptomiem. Coping strategies are used to adapt to the changes that occur during aging. This study investigated 275 older adults who attended a senior citizen’s centre. They provided sociodemographic data and answered the Stress Coping Questionnaire (SCQ) in a semistructured interview. The aim was to analyse the use of coping strategies based in several sociodemographic variables, using correlations, t tests, and ANOVAs. The results showed a positive and significant association between age and religion, and differences were found in gender, marital status, educational attainment, and income level.
