International audience; Salmonella Typhimurium and Cronobacter sakazakii are two foodborne pathogens involved in neonatal infections from milk powder and infant formula. Their ability to survive in low-moisture food and during processing from the decontamination to the dried state is a major issue in food protection. Modeling the heat inactivation of foodborne pathogens in milk powder : High relevance of the substrate water activity

Se presenta en este artículo un resumen del estudio pormenorizado que hemos realizado sobre una importante necrópolis tardo-antigua que, hoy por hoy y pese a su extensión y número total de individuos (cerca del millar), no puede vincularse con ningún núcleo urbano de importancia. Su desarrollo desde mediados del s. IV hasta la llegada de los musulmanes a inicios del s. La Cova de l’Hort de Cortés-Volcán del Faro (Cullera, Ribera Baixa, País Valenciano). Datos para la discusión de las ocupaciones presolutrenses

Los resultados de las excavaciones realizadas entre 1968 y 1984 en la Cova de Hort de Cortés- Volcán del Faro quedaron limitados a identificar materiales solutrenses, magdalenienses y neolíticos-calcolíticos. Una lectura crítica de la Memoria de excavaciones, publicada en 2003, permitió plantear la posibilidad de la presencia de ocupaciones anteriores, posiblemente gravetienses. En 2018 se iniciaron nuevos trabajos en el yacimiento, dentro de un proyecto que pretende recuperar información a partir de los cortes de las antiguas excavaciones. The name Calabrian was introduced in the geological literature by the French stratigrapher Maurice Gignoux in 1910, and later described in his important monograph (633 pages) "Les formations marines pliocènes et quaternaires de l'Italie du sud et de la Sicile" published in 1913. Detailed data were provided on several sections (Santa Maria di Catanzaro, Caraffa, Monasterace, Palermo) and on their fossil content.
