Para ello, aborda imágenes y narrativas que circulan en los entramados simbólicos de la cultura del bienestar, que también se denomina como cultura activa. El cuerpo del liderazgo se ofrece al público mediante estrategias positivas y negativas. Éstas, en la medida que encumbran el estilo de vida activo, demonizan aquellas prácticas que no responden a los valores sanitarios y productivos promulgados por el ethos empresarial emergente. Search without rescue? Evaluating the international search and rescue response to earthquake disasters

Earthquakes around the world are unnecessarily lethal and destructive, adversely affecting the health and well-being of affected populations. Most immediate deaths and injuries are caused by building collapse, making search and rescue (SAR) an early priority. In this review, we assess the SAR response to earthquake disasters. First, we review the evidence for the majority of individuals being rescued locally, often by relatives and neighbours. We then summarise evidence for successful live rescues by international SAR (ISAR) teams, along with the costs, ethics and other considerations of deployment. Con este trabajo pretendemos presentar nuestro procedimiento de digitalización de información de campo (gestión de datos) y su imbricación en la reconstrucción estratigráfica virtual (virtualización) de la Cueva de la Cocina (Dos Aguas, Valencia, España). La herramienta principal para la implementación del Sistema de Información Geográfica (SIG) ha sido OpenJUMP, mientras que para la recreación tridimensional (3D) del entorno virtual de la cueva se han utilizado MeshLab, ParaView, CloudCompare y R. La Meseta de Requena-Utiel, en el interior de la provincia de Valencia, constituyó en época ibérica el territorio de la ciudad de Kelin. Entre otros aspectos, dicho territorio destacó por presentar una elevada concentración de cuevas con materiales ibéricos, de las cuales claramente cinco son resultado de prácticas rituales en su interior. Estas cuevas rituales fueron espacios estrechamente ligados al proceso de territorialización acaecido en la zona entre los siglos V y III a.C. Recent research suggests that such protective effects can be induced through visual or chemical cues released by infected individuals, resulting in anticipatory immune upregulation among group members. While earlier studies have examined the ability of animals to learn to avoid predators, learned parasite avoidance has received little interest. In a series of behavioural trials with the trematode parasite Diplostomum pseudospathaceum , we asked whether sea trout ( Salmo trutta trutta ) hosts show associative learning in the context of parasitism and if so, whether learning capacity is related to the likelihood of infection mediated through host personality and resistance.
