Abstract. Missing value imputation is a common approach for preprocessing incomplete data sets. In case of data clustering, imputation methods may cause unexpected bias because they may change the underlying structure of the data. In order to avoid prior imputation of missing values the computational operations must be projected on the available data values. In this paper, we apply a robust nan-K-spatmed algorithm to the clustering problem on hyperspectral image data. Robust statistics, such as multivariate medians, are more insensitive to outliers than classical statistics relying on the Gaussian assumptions. The “self-care”, yet one of the ethical principles of the hellenistic philosophies, is read again with a kind of disenchanted and post-modern view. Through a comparision between the Hellenistic and the modern ages, we can say that the first one is marked by the crisis of the pòlis, and the second one is living out the end of the national state with a sense of anxiety. So, by following Epicuro and the Stoicism, is possible to recognize in the practice of the “self-care” a pedagogic resource through which the Subject can activate a self-inquiry process able to involve or commit others human beings, planting the seeds for a planetary consciousness.

Su objetivo es conocer los tipos de violencia que sufrieron las mujeres institucionalizadas que iniciaron su trayectoria vital en la situación de exclusión social cuando eran menores de edad, desde su perspectiva y punto de vista. Abstract:Since 1997, execution in China has been increasingly performed by lethal injection. The current criteria for determination of death for execution by lethal injection (cessation of heartbeat, cessation of respiration, and dilated pupils) neither conform to current medical science nor to any standard of medical ethics. In practice, death is pronounced in China within tens of seconds after starting the lethal injection. At this stage, however, neither the common criteria for cardiopulmonary death (irreversible cessation of heartbeat and breathing) nor that of brain death (irreversible cessation of brain functions) have been met.
