Sull’efficacia preventiva, dissuasiva e protettiva delle misure antirapina
2015

Multilateralism, Security and the Global Political System: The US and the EU at the UN
2010
The article analyzes data on US and EU behavior at the UN and does not confirm the deep estrangement between the US and the UN nor the real possibility of a EU support to a multilateral order in opposition to the US that has been highlighted by some IR scholars. The article claims that the EU does not challenge the metanorms at the basis of the UN. On the contrary, the EU supports the current (US-based) constitutional order and tends to improve its output legitimacy in consideration of changes in the security agenda. In this respect, the US and the EU seem to complement each other operationally rather than represent opposite models of multilateralism expressing a diverging institutional pat…
ENABLING LOCAL GOVERNMENTS TO DESIGN AND IMPLEMENT ANTI-CORRUPTION STRATEGIES THROUGH DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND GOVERNANCE. A CASE-STUDY OF …
2021
Living on the edge: Meoneura obscurella in the ‘Wieliczka’ Salt Mine (southern Poland) exhibits the first case of lecithotrophic ovoviviparity in the…
2021
During the studies on the invertebrate fauna of the subterranean part of the “Wieliczka” Salt Mine in Wieliczka, Poland, the presence of many specimens of the dipteran species Meoneura obscurella (Fallén 1823) was observed. Organic remains and faeces related to the presence of mice (Mus musculus) were indicated as a potential food source for the insects. M. obscurella displays lecithotrophic viviparity (ovoviviparity), which has developed due to extremely harsh abiotic conditions and a lack of food. This is the first documented case of lecithotrophic viviparity within the fly family Carnidae. Based on the ability of this species to inhabit and reproduce in the conditions of the subterranean…
Il costruttivismo. La rivalutazione delle idee nelle relazioni internazionali

Expectations and Experiences of Implementing a Mobile Secure Communication Application
2020
The privacy and security of communication in corporations and governmental organizations has increased enormously over the years. At the same time, a growing amount of technological solutions to support this have emerged. This study examines user expectations before and use experiences during the implementation phase of a mobile secure communication application. These are investigated from the expectation–confirmation perspective and its influence on continued adoption. The study has an exploratory approach for this investigation. To guide the investigation, the study draws from the expectation–confirmation theory (ECT) and the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT). Emp…
