Restoration of a XVII Century’s predella reliquary: From Physico-Chemical Characterization to the Conservation Process

We report on the restoration of a XVII century’s predella reliquary, which is a part of a larger setup that includes a wall reliquary and a wooden crucified Christ, both belonging to the church of “Madre Maria SS. Assunta”, in Polizzi Generosa, Sicily, Italy. The historical/artistic and paleographic research was flanked successfully by the scientific objective characterization of the materials. The scientific approach was relevant in the definition of the steps for the restoration of the artefact. The optical microscopy was used for the identification of the wood species. Työelämän viestintä on monipuolistunut erilaisten viestintävälineiden käytön ja tiimityön myötä. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli kuvata ja analysoida audiokokousta työelämän vuorovaikutustilanteena. Audiokokous on teknologiavälitteisen viestinnän vuorovaikutustilanne, jossa viestitään äänen välityksellä joko tietokoneella tai puhelimella. Käytössä on jokin yhteinen virtuaalinen tila, jossa voi näyttää reaaliaikaisesti kokoukseen liittyviä materiaaleja mutta ei nähdä videokuvaa osallistujista. Evaluation of web reinforcements in prestressed concrete box girders through shear-transverse bending domains

In concrete box girders, the amount and distribution of reinforcements in the webs have to be estimated considering the local effects due to eccentric external loads and cross-sectional distortion and not only the global effect due to the resultant forces of a longitudinal analysis: shear, torsion and bending. This work presents an analytical model that allows designers to take into account the interaction of all these effects, global and local, for the determination of the reinforcements. Pro gradu -tutkielmani käsittelee Venäjän valtionjohdon esittämiä väestöpoliittisia kannanottoja vuosina 2000-2010. Tutkimusaihe on relevantti ensinnäkin ajankohtaisuutensa vuoksi, sillä tutkimuksen kattamina vuosina julkisesti kannettu huoli väestön tilasta eli alhaisesta syntyvyydestä yhdistettynä korkeaan kuolleisuuteen on kärjistynyt. Tänä aikana toteutettiin laajoja väestöpoliittisia toimenpiteitä tilanteen parantamiseksi. Toiseksi aiheen relevanssi johtuu sen moniulotteisuudesta, sillä se herättää mm. perhettä, sukupuolta, seksuaalisuutta, kansantaloutta ja kansan tulevaisuutta koskevia kysymyksiä.
