Examination of robust D-stability of TCP-DCR protocol

This paper presents non-linear mathematical model of a computer network with a part of wireless network. The article contains an analysis of the stability of the network based on TCP-DCR, which is a modification of the traditional TCP. Block diagram of the network model was converted to a form in order to investigate the D-stability using the method of the space of uncertain parameters. Robust D-stability is calculated for constant delays values.
Application of Zero Exclusion Condition to Stability Analysis of Computer Networks

Stability, or robust [Dscr ]-stability analysis of computer network considered as a dynamic system, relies on increasing the speed of data transmission while minimizing the queuing time delays of its packets in the router buffers that can affect the overall data flow of the network traffic. We consider a zero exclusion condition as an effective method for testing and analyzing the computer networks stability. Our findings indicate that keeping control over the queuing time delays as well as including some factors of the RED algorithm and its variants, which we present in this paper, can improve the quality of network services significantly. Analiza D-stabilności protokołu TCP-DCR

Praca zawiera analizę stabilności sieci na podstawie protokołu TCP-DCR, będącego modyfikacją tradycyjnego TCP. Utworzono model matematyczny sieci i opisano go równaniami. Schemat blokowy modelu sieci przekształcono do takiej postaci, aby zbadać jego D-stabilność stosując metodę przestrzeni niepewnych parametrów.
