[EN] Mechanical vibrations as subject can be found within many Engineering and Science Degrees. To achieve that the students understand the mathematics and its physical interpretation is the objective we should get as docents. In this paper we describe how to create a simple graphical model of a single degree of freedom vibrating system allowing us to visualize concepts like above concepts damping, resonance or forced vibrations. The objective was to compare the impact factor to 2 years of self-citations (IF2Y) with impact factor 2 years without self-citations (IF2YWS) and IF2Y with the impact factor to 5 years (IF5Y) as well as IF2YWS with SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) about journals where they were published articles of excellence in smoking by Spanish authors in the period 2008-2012. It has been proven as an effective technique for the preservation of food products as it can result in substantial inactivation of most undesirable enzymes. Despite its importance, the monotonicity condition is typically overlooked in stochastic frontier analysis. This article illustrates a straightforward and useful method for the estimation of semiparametric stochastic frontier models imposing such constraint and incorporating exogenous inefficiency effects exploiting the scaling property. An iterative estimation algorithm based on nonlinear least squares is developed and the behavior of the proposed procedure is investigated through a set of Monte Carlo experiments comparing its finite sample properties with those of available alternatives. Service climate is critical for organizations pertaining to the service sector. It reflects the importance organizations attribute to service quality and efforts to please customers. Using previous work of Schneider, White, and Paul (1998) as starting point, this research validates a measure of service climate in the Spanish language. Data from two survey study projects were brought together. A total of 120 hotels, located in Spain, participated in the research. The sample consisted of 508 frontline hotel employees distributed in 152 work-units.
