D3 Dihedral Logistic Map of Fractional Order

In this paper, the D3 dihedral logistic map of fractional order is introduced. The map presents a dihedral symmetry D3. It is numerically shown that the construction and interpretation of the bifurcation diagram versus the fractional order requires special attention. The system stability is determined and the problem of hidden attractors is analyzed. Furthermore, analytical and numerical results show that the chaotic attractor of integer order, with D3 symmetries, looses its symmetry in the fractional-order variant.

The Lorenz system : hidden boundary of practical stability and the Lyapunov dimension

On the example of the famous Lorenz system, the difficulties and opportunities of reliable numerical analysis of chaotic dynamical systems are discussed in this article. For the Lorenz system, the boundaries of global stability are estimated and the difficulties of numerically studying the birth of self-excited and hidden attractors, caused by the loss of global stability, are discussed. Tax havens and tax flight have lately received increasing attention, while interest toward multilateral trade policies has somewhat diminished. Background Strong associations have been demonstrated between the American Heart Association’s cardiovascular health (CVH) metrics and various cardiovascular outcomes, but the association with sudden cardiac death (SCD) is uncertain. We examined the associations between these CVH metrics and the risks of SCD and all-cause mortality among men in Finland. Background: Sleep duration has been shown to be associated with all-cause mortality, however its relationship with cause-specific fatal events remains uncertain. We examined the relationship between sleep duration and risk of fatal coronary heart disease (CHD), sudden cardiac death, cancer related death and all-cause mortality. Methods Sleep duration was self-reported at baseline examinations performed between March 20, 1984 and December 5, 1989 in 2,361 men aged 42-61 years old from the Kuopio Ischemic Heart Disease study.
