In the presented paper, the author very deeply and thoroughly explains the issue of the currently amended consumer bankruptcy law in Poland. The paper consists of four key parts. In the first part of the paper, the author clarifies the Polish legislation concerning the consumer bankruptcy; in the second part of his paper he analyses the modes of a debt relief for an insolvent natural person through the consumer bankruptcy and consumer arrangement; the third part of the paper deals with the question of the legal character of a consumer debt relief and, finally, in the last part of his paper, the author focuses on the issues of a payment morality of the debtor and its legal importance. This chapter studies the quantitative evolution of sub-central sovereign debt in Spain over the period 2000–2011 and compares it with the evolution of central debt. As an intense process of political and fiscal decentralization has taken place since the mid eighties, the paper examines whether this drive to decentralization has been paralleled by any fiscally undisciplined behavior on the part of Spanish sub-central governments over the period considered. Some key formal legal rules and informal behavioral norms present at sub-central politics in Spain are examined, including legal controls on borrowing by sub-central governments. Dehydration of yeast: Changes in the intracellular content of Hsp70 family proteins

Abstract Yeast is known to experience in natural and industrial conditions cycles of dehydration–rehydration. Several molecular mechanisms can be triggered in response to this and other environmental stressors and to rescue yeast cells of the cytotoxic effect. Since heat shock proteins constitute one of the most important systems of the response to stress we studied whether the pre-induced major stress protein, Hsp70, can cope with yeast cell drying. To induce Hsp70 expression the cells of two yeast species, Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Debaryomyces hansenii , were subjected to non-lethal heat shock. Yeast isolates were obtained from the hindgut of the lower termites Mastotermis darwiniensis (Mastotermitidae), Zootermopsis angusticollis, Zootermopsis nevadensis (Hodotermitidae), Neotermes jouteli (Kalotermitidae), Reticulitermes santonensis, Heterotermes indicola (Rhinotermitidae) and the roach Cryptocercus punctulatus (Prillinger et al. 1996). The monosaccharide composition of the cell wall, the ubiquinone system, partial sequencing of 18S ribosomal DNA and the ultrastructure of septal pores indicate that most yeast species belonged to the Endomycetales.
