The value of time and transport policies in a parallel road network

Abstract One of the key questions in the evaluation of transport policies and investment decisions is the valuation of the time savings or losses arising from such decisions. This paper uses the stated preference method to determine the value of time in a given traffic context characterised by a road parallel network. The values obtained are higher than usual in Spanish project evaluation which, among other things, points out the need for specific studies of all transport projects whenever possible. Abstract Crowdlending platforms are becoming increasingly important as a collective financing mechanism for entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), especially those at an early stage. What do we mean when we talk about the “intelligence” of robots? In what sense does a robot “reason” and “take decisions”? Answering these questions can give food for thought towards understanding whether there is either something so specific in human beings that cannot be reproduced in robots, or—as an alternative—the way to improve robots in emulating human behavior. In the following pages I will try to give my contribution by shedding light on some characteristics concerning human reasoning and rationality, mainly referring to the ancient Greek philosophical tradition.

W opracowaniu przeanalizowano system podejmowania decyzji administracyjnych przedsiębiorstwa rolnego pod względem jego funkcjonowania w przestrzeni informacyjnej. Sformułowano warunki funkcjonowania systemu i wyjaśniono ogólne etapy składowe systemu. Zdefiniowano kierunki strumieni informacyjnych i określono rolę czynników wpływających na skuteczność całego systemu.

W artykule zaprezentowano możliwości zastosowania teorii gier kooperacyjnych w podejmowaniu decyzji logistycznych. Wskazano, że kooperacja pozwala na generowanie korzyści i efektów synergicznych i może być z powodzeniem stosowana w procesie podejmowania decyzji w całym łańcuchu dostaw.
