Price Impact Function of a Single Transaction

Although supply and demand are perhaps the most fundamental concepts in economics, finding any general form for their behavior has proved to be elusive. Here we discuss our recent findings [1] on the price impact function empirically detected in the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Our study builds on earlier studies of how trading affects prices [2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11]. In particular, we look at the short term response to a single trade. This is done by using huge amounts of data and by measuring the market activity in units of transactions rather than seconds, so that we can more naturally aggregate data for many different stocks. Resumen El presente trabajo tuvo por objetivo evaluar la incidencia de las prácticas verdes, la innovación sostenible y el manejo del desperdicio alimentario en la construcción del capital de marca de los restaurantes. A partir de una investigación cuantitativa dirigida a responsables de restaurantes en Ecuador, se obtuvieron 120 cuestionarios válidos que permitieron estimar un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales a través de la regresión de mínimos cuadrados parciales. Online pricing for demand-side management in a low-voltage resistive micro-grid via a Stackelberg game with incentive strategies

It has been demonstrated that online pricing mechanisms are a viable solution for demand side management in power systems. This study deals with the analysis and design of a droop-controlled low-voltage resistive AC micro-grid network system. Such a system is subjected to a dynamic demand obtained from an online pricing mechanism, which is proposed as a novelty in the study of micro-grids. Multivariate statistical analysis for water demand modelling: implementation, performance analysis, and comparison with the PRP model

Water demand is the driving force behind hydraulic dynamics in water distribution systems. Consequently, it is crucial to accurately estimate the actual water use to develop reliable simulation models. In this study, copula-based multivariate analysis was proposed and used for demand prediction for a given return period.
