The Crisis on the Labor Market in Romania

In the last 17 years the labor market in Romania has suffered deep changes. We can found two distinct stages regarding the evolutions on the labor market in Romania after 1989. The first stage, which includes the period 1990 – 2003, is defined as a period of deep restructurations of the Romanian economy. It is characterized as a period of relatively high unemployment and the undertaken actions were directed mainly at limiting the unemployment and its harmful effects on the society. We consider that after 2005 the employment evolution heads towards a new crisis on the labor market, but its cause is not a high unemployment, but rather an offer dropping on the labor market. Globally, there is increasing usage and legalization of cannabis. In addition to its reported therapeutic effects, cannabis has several health risks which are not clearly defined. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the most common male sexual disorder and there are plausible mechanisms linking cannabis use to ED. No attempt has been made to collate the literature on this topic. The aim of this review was to summarize the prevalence and risk of ED in cannabis users compared to controls. In the last decades, the Italian University System has encountered several structural reforms aimed at making it more internationally competitive. Among them, the introduction of the University financial autonomy has triggered an “internal” competition among Universities to attract students from the entire country. Students’ enrollment at the first level has decreased significantly especially after the economic crisis of 2008, while the students’ migration from the South to the Central and Northern regions of the country has increased. Background: Monitoring dietary habits is important in order to identify risk groups and as a basis for targeted public health initiatives. Objective: To study trends in consumption of selected foods and beverages from 2016 to 2019 amongst Norwegian adolescents according to gender and parental education. Design: Repeated cross-sectional study amongst 25,996 adolescents, aged 14–17 years old. Consumption of selected food and beverages was measured by an online food frequency questionnaire and general linear models were applied to estimate changes in dietary habits. A phenomenological research of democracy education in a Finnish primary-school

This phenomenological research examines democracy education and the conditions contributing to young students’ democratic agency. The dataset includes interview and observation data from a school and educational decision-makers. The findings from the iterative analysis highlight the contradictions between democracy education as an ideal and opportunities for democratic agency. One significant contradiction was the expectation that young pupils should be competent democratic agents before being offered opportunities to act democratically.
