The use of minimalist shoes (MS) in running involves changes in running mechanics compared to conventional shoes (CS), but there is still little research analysing the effects of this footwear on plantar pressure, which could help to understand some risk injury factors. Roku krēma depozītu ietekme uz kontaktlēcu gaismas izkliedi un mitrināšanas leņķi

Darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 33 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 19 attēlus, 1 tabulu, 36 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis bija noteikt roku krēma depozītu kopējo laukumu un izkliedi uz kontaktlēcu virsmas, kā arī mitrināšanas leņķa izmaiņas. Pētījumā tika izmantotas lotrafilcon B, senofilcon A un asmofilcon A kontaktlēcas. Darba izpildei pielietoja piliena uzlikšanas un tumšā lauka apgaismošanas metodes. Rezultātā tika secināts, ka statistiski nozīmīgas izmaiņas mitrināšanas leņķī un liels roku krēma depozītu kopējais laukums uz lēcu virsmas novērojams materiāliem gan ar, gan bez plazmas virsmas apstrādes.

Abstract This paper deals with the chronology and the possible correlations among levels of different excavated areas in the Pleistocene vertebrate-bearing deposits at the large San Teodoro Cave (North-Eastern Sicily). Two trenches have been excavated along the eastern side of the cave, located at a distance from the entrance, respectively, of 8 m ( α trench) and 28 m ( β trench) and at different depths. Multi-resolution anisotropy studies of ultrahigh-energy cosmic rays detected at the Pierre Auger Observatory

We report a multi-resolution search for anisotropies in the arrival directions of cosmic rays detected at the Pierre Auger Observatory with local zenith angles up to $80^\circ$ and energies in excess of 4 EeV ($4 \times 10^{18}$ eV). This search is conducted by measuring the angular power spectrum and performing a needlet wavelet analysis in two independent energy ranges.
