Depresijas un uztvertā emocionālā siltuma bērnībā saistība ar mātes narcistiskām personības iezīmēm 18-44 gadus veciem pieaugušajiem

2022

Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt saistības starp depresiju, uztverto emocionālo siltumu bērnībā un mātes narcistiskām personības iezīmēm 18 – 44 gadus veciem pieaugušajiem. Pētījums tika veikts divās atkarīgās izlasēs. Pirmo izlasi veido 80 pieaugušie vecumā no 18 līdz 44 gadiem (M = 30,04, SD = 7,75), kas aizpildīja Epidemioloģijas pētījumu centra depresijas skalu (Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (Eaton, Muntaner, Smith, Tien & Ybarra, 2004)), Latvijā aptauju adaptējušas M. Bērtule un I. Melne 2018. gadā (Bērtule & Melne, 2018), Vecāku attieksmes aptauju (Parental Bonding Instrument (Parker, Tupling & Brown, 1979)), Latvijā aptauju adaptējusi I. I fattori di rischio per la biodiversità forestale in Sicilia: il caso studio del cerro di Gussone

2011

2020

Going through the lockdown: a longitudinal study on the psychological consequences of the coronavirus pandemic

2021

Coronavirus 2019 pandemic lockdown in Italy lasted for 2 months, 1 week and 2 days. During this long period, one of the longest in Europe, the restrictions produced effects on people’s psychological well-being, with consequences that also continued after lockdown. The purpose of the study is to investigate these effects and how they changed in the general population over a period of time. We are also interested in exploring people’s post-lockdown anxiety and concerns. We conducted an online survey using snowball sampling techniques. The longitudinal study consisted of four administrations covering a period of 10 weeks between April (baseline) and June (last follow-up). Levels of anxiety and…

CCK-8S systemic administration blocks the 7-nitroindazole-induced effects on the EEG of striatum and globus pallidus: a FFT analysis in the rat

2004

Background: Nitric oxide (NO) and cholecystokinin (CCK) are involved in the modulation of several neurotransmitter systems in the basal ganglia, and a functional interaction between their modulatory effects could be hypothesised. Materials and Methods: We studied the effects exerted by the administration of 7-nitroindazole (7-NI) (50 mg kg-1 i.p.), a selective inhibitor of neuronal NO synthase, on the depth EEG activity of the striatum and of the globus pallidus in both not pre-treated and sulphated CCK octapeptide (CCK- 8S)-treated (100 nM kg-1 i.p.) rats. Striatal and pallidal depth EEG power spectra were examined by means of a Fast Fourier Transform analysis. Results: Striatal depth reco…

Validation of a Psychosocial Chronic Stress Model in the Pig Using a Multidisciplinary Approach at the Gut-Brain and Behavior Levels

2019

Psychological chronic stress is an important risk factor for major depressive disorder, of which consequences have been widely studied in rodent models. This work aimed at describing a pig model of chronic stress based on social isolation, environmental impoverishment and unpredictability. Three groups of animals of both sexes were constituted. Two were exposed to the psychosocial stressors while receiving (SF, n = 12) or not (SC, n = 22) the antidepressant fluoxetine, and a third group (NSC, n = 22) remained unstressed. Animals were observed in home pens and during dedicated tests to assess resignation and anxiety-like behaviors. Brain structure and function were evaluated via proton MRS a…

Mental fatigue induced by prolonged self-regulation does not exacerbate central fatigue during subsequent whole-body endurance exercise

2015

International audience; It has been shown that the mental fatigue induced by prolonged self-regulation increases perception of effort and reduces performance during subsequent endurance exercise. However, the physiological mechanisms underlying these negative effects of mental fatigue are unclear. The primary aim of this study was to test the hypothesis that mental fatigue exacerbates central fatigue induced by whole-body endurance exercise. Twelve subjects performed 30 min of either an incongruent Stroop task to induce a condition of mental fatigue or a congruent Stroop task (control condition) in a random and counterbalanced order. Both cognitive tasks (CTs) were followed by a whole-body …

Snowmass Neutrino Frontier: Neutrino Interaction Cross Sections (NF06) Topical Group Report

2022

A thorough understanding of neutrino cross sections in a wide range of energies is crucial for the successful execution of the entire neutrino physics program. In order to extract neutrino properties, long-baseline experiments need an accurate determination of neutrino cross sections within their detector(s). Since very few of the needed neutrino cross sections across the energy spectrum are directly measured, we emphasize the need for theoretical input and indirect measurements such as electron scattering, which would complement direct measurements. In this report we briefly summarize the current status of our knowledge of the neutrino cross sections and articulate needs of the experiments…
