Abemaciclib: safety and effectiveness of a unique cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor

Introduction: The discovery and the clinical availability of novel cyclin-dependent kinases 4 and 6 inhibitors have profoundly changed the therapeutic scenario of metastatic hormone receptor-positive breast carcinoma. Among these inhibitors, abemaciclib can induce potent and sustained cell cycle arrest and immune system stimulation. Areas covered: This review summarizes the safety profile and clinical efficacy data on abemaciclib alone or in combination with aromatase inhibitors or fulvestrant in metastatic hormone receptor-positive breast carcinoma. Maģistra darba tēma ir Sarūkošu pilsētu plānošana: Daugavpils piemērs. Kopš 1992.gada iedzīvotāju skaits Daugavpilī ir samazinājies par 35,3% jeb 45015 iedzīvotājiem. Tādās Latvijas pilsētās kā Rīga, Liepāja, kas ir atzīmētas Sarūkošu pilsētu atlantā, ir veikti pētījumi par sarukšanas cēloņiem, attīstības prognozēm, sarukšanas ietekmi un sarukšanas noturības avotiem, bet Latvijas Republikas otrajā lielākajā pilsētā, kas ir nozīmīgs sociāli ekonomiskās attīstības centrs pie Latvijas austrumu robežas šādi pētījumi nav veikti. Sea urchins are considered to have a paramount role in structuring rocky shallow communities. Under certain conditions, grazing by sea-urchins has been reported to produce a shift from macroalgae-dominated communities to barren habitat dominated by encrusting algae. However, this process is not recorded at all depths. The effect of depth on the structure of the sea-urchin populations may be thus a key feature to understand the origin and maintenance of the barren habitat within certain depths. Background: The effect of depression on decision-making is an important but still an unsettled issue. Although most studies have reported that clinically depressed participants show worse performance, there are also studies that have shown no or even positive effects. Specifically, von Helversen et al. (2011) were able to document a positive effect of depression on task performance in a sequential decision-making task called the secretary problem (SP). Here, we (1) aimed to replicate this study in an extended version using more trials and (2) modified it by including an additional condition in which negative feedback was given. In this paper the fossil content of nine new micromammal bearing localities and that of 15 levels in a borehole from the Loranca Basin (eastern Tague Basin, Prov. of Cuenca) is described. The age ranges from early Arvernian (Late Oligocene) to Turolian (Late Miocene). 47 rodent and lagomorph taxons have been found which are arranged in 8 biostratigraphic units. The Loranca-2 borehole contains 15 fossiliferous levels covering the Upper Oligocene/Lower Miocene. These additional data complete the faunal sequence published by Díaz & López(1919).
