Some recent results on a singular p-laplacian equations

Abstract A short account of some recent existence, multiplicity, and uniqueness results for singular p-Laplacian problems either in bounded domains or in the whole space is performed, with a special attention to the case of convective reactions. An extensive bibliography is also provided.
Low-temperature thermal and plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition of metal oxide thin films

Atomic layer deposition (ALD) is a method for thin film fabrication with atomic level precision. This thesis focuses on low-temperature thermal and plasma- enhanced ALD and presents results on thin film growth by these techniques with examples of common ALD materials: Al2O3, ZnO and TiO2. As an example of limitations of the thermal ALD the nucleation and growth of Al2O3 and ZnO films on different grades of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) are presented, showing that the initiation of the growth is strongly dependent on both the deposited material and the substrate. The aim of this paper was to investigate the interactive effects of contextual variables on the attacking style of play in professional soccer. 5849 team possessions from 40 random matches from Spanish La Liga and English Premier League 2017-2018 were analysed by means of multidimensional observation. Multilevel multivariate logistic regressions showed that home teams had higher odds of implementing fast attacks (p<.05) and lower odds of implementing direct attacks (p<.05) than combinative attacks. La situación de provisión de cuidados a una persona con demencia ha tendido a ser estudiada desde una perspectiva exclusivamente negativa que enfatiza en los problemas con los que se pueden encontrar los cuidadores informales y las consecuencias de cuidar. No obstante, algunos autores sugieren que este planteamiento contribuye a dar una imagen reduccionista y sesgada del fenómeno del cuidado informal, y que para obtener una visión más completa del mismo y diseñar intervenciones más efectivas para incrementar el bienestar de los cuidadores sería recomendable tener en cuenta el papel de algunas variables de corte más positivo.
