Smart Technology for the passive house

Planning for sustainable policies aimed at identifying Smart urban spaces is determined by the parameters of Smart Cities model that encourage the production of intelligent building for construction energy efficient. The proposed article analyzes the effectiveness of the passive house in the Mediterranean area, offered by traditional building techniques, proposing a re-reading technology for the detection of a smart design methodology that can lead to the use of technologies with high energy efficiency.
How to get things done in social virtual reality : A study of team cohesion in social virtual reality–enabled teams

Social virtual reality (SVR) enables teams to operate in a virtual environment that simulates and enhances real-world interactions. However, there is an absence of empirical analysis of how SVR can affect the performance of virtual teams. This paper documents how SVR affects the formation of team cohesion (i.e., task cohesion and social cohesion), which is a critical success factor for team performance. To address this gap in the research, we conducted a qualitative study by interviewing 20 members from virtual teams assigned to perform a challenging collaborative task in SVR. Impressions of Questionable Marketing Practices in Indonesia: The Influence of Gender and Social Desirability Response Bias

Our research examines the ethical sensitivity of 90 Indonesian business students (61 male and 29 female) toward questionable marketing practices using self-reported data; however, unlike most ethics research, we control for social desirability responsibility bias. In our research, we found that, when social desirability response bias was not considered, there was a significant gender difference. In particular, the theoretical convergences and problematic nodes on the methodological level concerning the application of certain semiotic notions, such as that of actant and that of enunciation, within Bruno Latour's anthropology are discussed.

Advancing Design Science Research with Solution-based Probing

We propose solution-based probing as an extension of action design research. The core idea is that researchers bring a prototype solution (probe) into one or more fields and explore to synthesize robust and generalizable design knowledge, along with knowledge of the phenomena and correlations we discover. We believe proposing solutions creates opportunities for researchers to innovate and to document the impact. In addition, solutions can be effective probes for advancing theory, in terms of design theories and in creating exploratory foundations for behavioral and causal theory.
