Abstract This research focuses on crowdfunding project features and its relation with the success of this project. The main purpose is to improve probability of success of crowdfunding projects. One can argue that “more is always better” resulting in attempts of daily updates. Contrarily, backers may be weary of numerous updates to work through, indicating a possible wear-out effect, implying the existence of an optimal level of updates. The results of a geomorphological study carried out in the urban area of Palermo are summarized in a thematic map. Field survey, analysis of aerial photographs and topographic maps, consultation of historical documents and maps, stratigraphic and topographic reconstruction from numerous wells and subsoil data, and bibliographic search were performed, in order to display the geomorphological changes produced by man over time in a densely populated area and to define the Anthropocene of the study area. However, few studies have investigated the effects of Vibration (Vib) exposure on aerobic performance through the application of this concept to cycling exercise. Lending-based crowdfunding (LBC), in the large and tumultuous galaxy of crowdfunding, is the least fully disciplined and maybe the most problematic sector. Regulation n. 2020/1503 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 October 2020, on European providers of crowdfunding services for businesses, gives now a definition and significantly detailed discipline of the LBC, alongside the more widely known and regulated figure of investment-based crowdfunding (IBC). The essay takes some notes on this new text, also in view of the task of national Legislators and Authorities of introducing a domestic discipline on the LBC, consistent with the new framework of harmonization at EU level.

Stability, electronic structure, and optical properties of protected gold-doped silver Ag29-xAux (x = 0-5) nanoclusters

In this work, we used density functional theory (DFT) and linear response time-dependent DFT (LR-TDDFT) to investigate the stability, electronic structure, and optical properties of Au-doped [Ag29−xAux(BDT)12(TPP)4]3− nanoclusters (BDT: 1,3-benzenedithiol; TPP triphenylphosphine) with x = 0–5. The aim of this work is to shed light on the most favorable doped structures by comparing our results with previously published experimental data. The calculated relative energies, ranging between 0.8 and 10 meV per atom, indicate that several doped Ag29−xAux nanoclusters are likely to co-exist at room temperature.
