Sieviešu tēli šausmu žanra darbos mēdz būt ļoti atšķirīgi, īpaši, ja šie darbi ir tapuši dažādos laikmetos. Šī maģistra darba mērķis ir analizēt un salīdzināt sieviešu tēlu atainojumu Edgara Alana Po un Stīvena Kinga darbos. Teorētiskā literatūra liecina, ka sievietes tēls gotiskajā žanrā ir negatīvs, sievietes tiek attēlotas kā ļaunas un briesmīgas. Tomēr mūsdienu literatūra ļauj radīt dažādus sieviešu tēlus. Turklāt E. A. Po sieviešu tēls ir saistīts ar viņa dzīves sieviešu tēliem. Savukārt Kinga sievietes bieži tiek attēlotas, pamatojoties uz viņu ķermeņa fiziskajām iespējām. El cine musical español se ha servido en numerosas ocasiones de los elementos característicos de la españolada, como es el caso del flamenco. Sin embargo, muy pocas películas se han detenido a analizarlo en profundidad. Contraviniendo esa tendencia, ‘Duende y misterio del flamenco’ (Edgar Neville) y ‘Dame veneno’ (Pedro Barbadillo) se nos muestran como dos rarezas capaces de reflexionar en profundidad sobre ese género musical y su evolución a partir de los años setenta. Residual strain effects on the two-dimensional electron gas concentration of AlGaN/GaN heterostructures

Ga-face AlGaN/GaN heterostructures with different sheet carrier concentrations have been studied by photoluminescence and Raman spectroscopy. Compared to bulk GaN, an energy shift of the excitonic emission lines towards higher energies was observed, indicating the presence of residual compressive strain in the GaN layer. This strain was confirmed by the shift of the E2 Raman line, from which biaxial compressive stresses ranging between 0.34 and 1.7 GPa were deduced. The spontaneous and piezoelectric polarizations for each layer of the heterostructures have been also calculated. A Low-Power Fully-Mosfet Voltage Reference Generator for 90 nm CMOS Technology

An integrated voltage reference generator, designed for being incorporated in standard 90-nm CMOS technology flash memories, is described in this paper. A fully MOSFET based approach, using also subthreshold operated devices, has been adopted in order to achieve low-voltage and low-power requirements and to overcome the difficulties of conventional band-gap reference circuits. The proposed circuit, based on current signals, internally generates two currents with opposite dependence on temperature.
