Svensklärarnas uppfattningar om dyslexi i språkundervisning

2015

Tämän tutkielman tarkoituksena on selvittää, kuinka yläasteen ruotsin kielen opettajat huomioivat opetuksessaan oppilaat, joilla on lukivaikeuksia. Tutkimuksen avulla selvitettiin myös, minkälaisia keinoja opettajat käyttävät opetuksessaan helpottaakseen näiden oppilaiden kieltenopiskelua. Tarkoituksena on myös ottaa selvää, mikä tuottaa vaikeuksia ruotsin kielen suhteen suomenkielisille oppilaille, joilla on havaittu lukivaikeuksia. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on myös antaa tietoa tuleville kieltenopettajille lukivaikeuksista. Tutkimukseen osallistui yhteensä viisi yläkoulun ruotsinopettajaa, joilla on kokemusta lukivaikeuksisista oppilaista. Tutkimusaineisto kerättiin teemahaastattelun avul…

Parent–Infant Attachment Insecurity and Emotional Eating in Adolescence: Mediation through Emotion Suppression and Alexithymia

2021

Contains fulltext : 233652.pdf (Publisher’s version ) (Open Access) Emotional eating (EE), the propensity to eat in response to emotions, is thought to have its origins in the early parent-infant relationship. This study tested the hypothesis that infant attachment insecurity results in EE in adolescence through the increased use of the emotion regulation strategy suppression of emotions and subsequent alexithymia. At the age of 15 months, parent-infant attachment security (n = 129) was observed with two abbreviated attachment measures: the shortened strange situation procedure (SSSP), and the shortened attachment Q-set (S-AQS). At the age of 12 years, children completed self-report questio…

Tryptophan metabolic pathways and brain serotonergic activity: A comparative review

2019

The essential amino acid L-tryptophan (Trp) is the precursor of the monoaminergic neurotransmitter serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT). Numerous studies have shown that elevated dietary Trp has a suppressive effect on aggressive behavior and post-stress plasma cortisol concentrations in vertebrates, including teleosts. These effects are believed to be mediated by the brain serotonergic system, even though all mechanisms involved are not well understood. The rate of 5-HT biosynthesis is limited by Trp availability, but only in neurons of the hindbrain raphe area predominantly expressing the isoform TPH2 of the enzyme tryptophan hydroxylase (TPH). In the periphery as well as in brain areas …

Compared Binding Properties between Resveratrol and Other Polyphenols to Plasmatic Albumin: Consequences for the Health Protecting Effect of Dietary …

2014

International audience; Phytophenols are considered to have beneficial effects towards human physiology. They are food microcomponents with potent chemopreventive properties towards the most three frequent contemporary human diseases, e.g., cardiovascular alterations, cancer and neurodegenerative pathologies. Related to this, the plasmatic form and plasmatic level of plant polyphenols in the body circulation are crucial for their efficiency. Thus, determinations of the binding process of resveratrol and of common flavonoids produced by major edible plants, berries and fruits to plasma proteins are essential. The interactions between resveratrol and albumin, a major plasma protein, were comp…

Suplementy diety dla sportowców w aspekcie przepisów antydopingowych

2022

Dlatego w historii spor…

An Integrated Approach to Skeletal Muscle Health in Aging

2023

A decline in muscle mass and function represents one of the most problematic changes associated with aging, and has dramatic effects on autonomy and quality of life. Several factors contribute to the inexorable process of sarcopenia, such as mitochondrial and autophagy dysfunction, and the lack of regeneration capacity of satellite cells. The physiologic decline in muscle mass and in motoneuron functionality associated with aging is exacerbated by the sedentary lifestyle that accompanies elderly people. Regular physical activity is beneficial to most people, but the elderly need well-designed and carefully administered training programs that improve muscle mass and, consequently, both funct…

Från gräva upp rabatt till chatta : förändringar hos ordförrådet i svenskläroböcker för årskurs sju

2013

Tutkielmani tarkoituksena on selvittää, miten sanasto on muuttunut seitsemännen luokan B-ruotsin oppikirjoissa kahdessakymmenessä vuodessa. Tutkimusaineistona minulla ovat kirjat Toppen 7 (1983), Satsa på svenska 7 (1984), Klick 7 (2003) ja Din tur 1 (2003), joista tarkastelen pääkappaleiden sanastoa substantiivien, adjektiivien ja verbien osalta. Tarkastelen erityisesti, ovatko jotkin sanat korvautuneet ajan saatossa toisilla, onko sanastoon tullut uusia sanoja ja onko joitain sanoja, jotka ovat hävinneet kokonaan sanastosta. Tutkimusmetodina käytän laadullista sisällönanalyysia. Tutkimukseni tulokset osoittavat, että teknologisen kehityksen myötä on syntynyt paljon uusia sanoja ruotsin ki…
