The purpose of the study this article is based on was to gain insight into how people experience living with a psychiatric diagnosis. The findings are based on qualitative interviews with four participants who have had a psychiatric diagnosis for at least five years. Masteroppgave i folkehelsevitenskap – Universitetet i Agder 2013 Mange jenter på yrkesfaglig studieretninger i videregående skole finner seg ikke til rette i kroppsøvingsfaget og møter ikke opp til timene. Studien kom som følge av en bekymringsmelding fra en videregående skole i Agder, og at tall i fra Vest-Agder fylkeskommune, viste høyt frafall i kroppsøvingsfaget blant jenter på yrkesfaglige studieretninger.
