Resumen tomado de la publicación Se realiza una aproximación al estudio de las características del abuso de sustancias entre la población inmigrante en España. Aunque no se puede establecer una relación unívoca entre emigración y abuso de sustancias, hay factores sociales, culturales e incluso biológicos, que aumentan el riesgo en dicha población, tal como confirma el incremento del indicador de demandas de tratamiento en el último año en la Comunidad Valenciana. Dividing Responsibility for Care : Tracing the Ethics of Care in Local Care Strategies

This article analyses local care policies through the lens of the feminist ethics of care. The focus is on the normative understandings regarding care that emerge in local care strategy documents and how these understandings relate with the concept of ‘responsibility’. In this article, strategies published by the municipality of Jyväskylä, Finland, between the years 2008 and 2016, are analysed using Trace analysis. The research questions are: How is the division of responsibility regarding care among different actors constructed in the strategies? Transnational ties: Resource or stressor on Peruvian migrants' well‐being?

This paper explores the role of types and the intensity of transnational ties for migrants' well‐being from a global perspective. Based on a literature review, two competing hypotheses are formulated—transnational resources versus transnational stress—according to which transnational ties have either a positive or a negative effect on migrants' well‐being. Drawing on data from a large‐scale survey of Peruvian migrants worldwide, this paper examines the strength and direction of the relationship between Peruvian migrants' transnational ties and poor well‐being, the latter measured as depression/loneliness as a principal concern.
