The objective of this paper is an analysis of the course of the 2016 EU referendum campaign from the perspective of the political battle between the parties and between intra -party factions. Besides the main goals of the UK’s leaving the EU or remaining within it, the stakes of the battle included the strengthening of one’s own political camp, the weakening of one’s opponents, the gaining of power within a party or, eventually, the gaining of power in the country. Attieksmes pret adopciju saistība ar lēmumu adoptēt bērnu

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot vai pastāv nozīmīga saistība starp pozitīvu attieksmi pret adopciju un rīcības nodomu adoptēt bērnu. Tika izveidota aptauja, kas balstījās uz attieksmes pret adopciju aptauju ATAQ, (Abdollahzadeh et al., 2019) un tika pielāgota, lai ietvertu plānotās rīcības teorijas (Fishbein & Ajzen, 2009) trīs apakšskalas: attieksmi pret uzvedību, subjektīvās normas un uztverto kontroli. Aptauja tika izplatīta interneta vidē un pētījumā piedalījās 77 respondenti. Cardiovascular diseases are a major cause of premature death and disability. They represent an extraordinarily strong financial burden upon health-care systems in ‘‘developed’’ countries. Elevated blood pressure is a major cause of cardiovascular disease. There is much evidence that cardiovascular risk increases from normal blood pressure (i.e., from 115/75 mmHg upwards) [1]. Overwhelming evidence shows that reducing salt intake from 9–12 g/day to 5–6 g/day lowers blood pressure [2]. Blood pressure is a surrogate endpoint, but may be related to a reduction of morbidity and mortality due to cardiovascular causes.
