Time dependent viscoelastic rheological response of pure, modified and synthetic bituminous binders

Bitumen is a viscoelastic material that exhibits both elastic and viscous components of response and displays both a temperature and time dependent relationship between applied stresses and resultant strains. In addition, as bitumen is responsible for the viscoelastic behaviour of all bituminous materials, it plays a dominant role in defining many of the aspects of asphalt road performance, such as strength and stiffness, permanent deformation and cracking. 1.juli 2006 ble den Nye Arbeids- og Velferdsforvaltning opprettet. Det er den største omorganisering som er skjedd innen velferdstjenesteområdet i Norge noen gang. 16000 ansatte er involvert og alle landets kommuner blir engasjert i denne. For å få en oversikt over reformen og over området som endres ble denne rapporten laget. Rapporten er derfor en beskrivende rapport både når det gjelder fortid om hvordan de tidligere etatene ble til og fungerte og når det gjelder nåsituasjonen for reformen. Distance Constrained Mapping to Support NoC Platforms Based on Source Routing

Efficient NoC is crucial for communication among processing elements in a highly parallel processing systems on chip. Mapping cores to slots in a NoC platform and designing efficient routing algorithms are two key problems in NoC design. Source routing offers major advantages over distributed routing especially for regular topology NoC platforms. But it suffers from a serious drawback of overhead since it requires whole communication path to be stored in every packet header. The AHS (Airborne Hyperspectral Scanner) instrument has 80 spectral bands covering the visible and near infrared (VNIR), short wave infrared (SWIR), mid infrared (MIR) and thermal infrared (TIR) spectral range. The instrument is operated by Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aerospacial (INTA), and it has been involved in several field campaigns since 2004. This paper presents an overview of the work performed with the AHS thermal imagery provided in the framework of the SPARC and SEN2FLEX campaigns, carried out respectively in 2004 and 2005 over an agricultural area in Spain. Work-related stress of elementary school principals in Finland: Coping strategies and support

The present study aimed to investigate elementary school principals’ self-reported causes of work-related stress, their coping strategies to deal with stress and the support they need for their leadership. Seventy-six principals filled in the questionnaire, which included open-ended questions. Qualitative content analysis was used to analyse the data. The results showed that the main sources of stress were workload, interpersonal conflicts, a lack of resources and internal pressures. Moreover, principals used emotion-focused, problem-focused and social coping to deal with stress. This thesis focuses on exploring the value co-creation in the future electricity demand-side response (DSR) service for households. DSR service is implemented as a cloud service, where high-power home appliances are switched off, if there are consumption overload in the power grid and the flexibility is needed. The service is necessary, especially when the use of electric cars increases. As electricity consumption is expected to increase, it creates challenges for electricity network capacity. Increased production in the near future, as well as moving towards more carbon-neutral production mode, will increase the challenges for the adequacy of electricity. Melanoma ir ļaundabīgs audzējs, kas veidojas galvenokārt ādā no tur esošajiem melanocītiem. Melanomai ir raksturīga strauja slimības gaita un agrīna metastazēšanās. Tā ir rezistenta pret standarta terapeitiskajām metodēm. Ievērojamais nesenais progress melanomas ārstēšanā arī nav devis gaidītos rezultātus, tāpēc joprojām tiek meklēti jauni melanomas ārstēšanas paņēmieni. Larifan ir bakteriofāga izcelsmes dsRNS (bf-dsRNS), kas iegūta biotehnoloģiskā ceļā no ar bakteriofāgu inficētām E.Coli šūnām.
