Among many aspects to the question of whether democracy is exportable, this contribution focuses on the role of the people, understood not as a unitary actor but as a heterogeneous set: the citizens. The people matter, in a different way, both in the countries to which democracy might be exported and in the democratic countries in which the question is about promoting democracy elsewhere. Frailty syndrome is a state of decreased homeostatic capacity against stress. It is an independent risk factor for subsequent mortality, institutionalization, multimorbidity, falls, incontinence, and immobility. Frailty people have a significantly reduced quality of life, as well as being the largest users of health care services. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot kādas saistības pastāv starp plūsmas stāvokli, emociju kontroli un daudzspēlētāju tiešsaistes spēļu lietošanu. Pētījumā piedalījās 56 dalībnieki vecumā no 14 – 45 gadiem, no kuriem 43 (77%) ir vīrieši un 13 (23%) sievietes. Kā datu ievākšanas metodes tika izmantotas trīs aptaujas. Unlawful Aid and Public Undertakings: Vertical Direct Effect of Article 108(3), third sentence TFEU

This paper addresses the position of public undertakings that may appear in a State aid law-related context in their capacity of intermediaries or grantors of aid vis-à-vis Article 108(3), third sentence, TFEU, to check whether the standstill obligation directly applies to public undertakings where they act to grant or disburse State aid. Public undertakings must refrain from granting aid in breach of the standstill obligation, as addressees of the standstill obligation. Where a public undertaking fails to apply Article 108(3) TFEU, it opens itself to claims based on Union law, including claims for damages. Union law is stated as it stood on 20 June 2021.

Thereby physico-chemical processes in the CO2-H2 system by organic and inorganic reactions receive increasing attention. This paper presents an experiential learning lab focused on building a digital storytelling using both robots with LEGO Mindstorms and virtual worlds with Kodu Game Lab. The experiential laboratory (32 hours) has involved 33 children of secondary schools in a collaborative learning setting in formal (school labs) and informal learning context (external cultural association). Black hole spectroscopy is a powerful tool to probe the Kerr nature of astrophysical compact objects and their environment. The observation of multiple ringdown modes in gravitational waveforms could soon lead to high-precision gravitational spectroscopy, so it is critical to understand if the quasinormal mode spectrum is stable against perturbations. It was recently shown that the pseudospectrum can shed light on the spectral stability of black hole quasinormal modes.
