Synthesis and study of new precursors for bimodal optic/PET or optic/SPECT imaging

2014

This thesis was performed at the Institut de Chimie Moléculaire de d’Université de Bourgogne (France) and in the Département de chimie de l’Université de Sherbrooke (Québec). The aim of this work was to design new BODIPY derivatives in order to obtain optimal properties for in vivo bimodal optical/PET or SPECT imaging. The modifications concern the hydrosolubilisation of these organic dyes, as well as the shifting of the absorption and emission bands toward the therapeutic window, where the light is less attenuated by biological tissues. Solutions allowing the bioconjugation of BODIPY on a bombesin derivative, a peptide which targets receptors surexpressed in tumor cells, were also investig…

Strategic interactions on differentiated markets and public policies

2017

In economy, the competition analysis among firms have a significance importance because of the complexity of some elements. This thesis examines the strategic interactions on differentiated markets in general equilibrium while proposing the public policies to reduce the distortions due to the imperfect behaviors. This thesis takes into account the differentiation of products in order to obtain the new conclusions and/or to extend those existing. We thus pursues two objectives. Fisrt, the construction of a model of imperfect competition on differentiated markets in a general equilibrium framework. Second, the evaluation of the consequences of the model in terms of economic policies. At begin…

No-dualidad en las sabidurías orientales

2020

This paper focuses on the concept of nonduality in Oriental wisdom systems. Firstly, its definitions and relevance in Oriental thought and Eastern philosophy will be discussed. After an…

An open-source instrumentation package for intensive soil hydraulic characterization

2020

International audience; We present a new open-source and modular instrumentation package composed of up to ten automatic in- filtrometers connected to data acquisition systems for automatic recording of multiple infiltration experiments. The infiltrometers are equipped with differential transducers to monitor water level changes in a Mariotte re- servoir, and, in turn, to quantify water infiltration rates. The data acquisition systems consist of low-cost components and operate on the open-source microcontroller platform Arduino. The devices were tested both in the laboratory and on different urban and agricultural soils in France and India. More specifically, we tested three procedures to t…

Driver's emotional state and vulnerable road user detection

2017

DDI 2017 - 5th International Conference on Driver Distraction and Inattention, PARIS, FRANCE, 20-/03/2017 - 22/03/2017; In 2014, slightly over 3380 deaths occurred on metropolitan French roads (Observatoire National Interministériel de Sécurité Routière [ONISR], 2015). For pedestrians and cyclists the percentage of fatal accidents increased by around 4, and 7% respectively since 2010. In addition, accidents involving pedestrians and cyclists are mostly caused by other road users as motorists, truck or bus drivers making pedestrians and cyclists vulnerable road users [VRU]. Previous investigations showed that VRU visibility for road users (drivers) was a crucial main issue. To address this i…

Procédé de Liquéfaction, Saccharification et Fermentation Simultanée à Très Haute Gravité utilisant de la farine de manioc pour la production de l'ét…

2021

A simultaneous liquefaction, saccharification and fermentation (SLSF) process at very high gravity of cassava flour for potable ethanol production was developed at lab (1 L) and pilot scale (15 L and 1000 L). Cassava flour (CF) was mixed with tap water to obtain a concentration of 270 g/L dry matter. Sequentially, the mixture of a native starch hydrolyzing enzyme containing a mixture of alpha–amylase and gluco-amylase (Stargen 002 at 2565 GAU/kg CF), gluco-amylase (Amigase Mega L at 0.105% w/w), active dry yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Red Ethanol at 3,5 × 10^7 cells/ml), KH2PO4 (9,9 mM) and urea (16.0 mM) was added into cassava slurry. The SLSF-VHG process including three steps of liquef…
