Clinical guidelines are developed in order to support physicians and patients in specific clinical situations when decisions concerning diagnosis and treatment are made. Recommendations provided in guidelines are based on the findings of clinical studies and on expert opinion. Identical study findings may be evaluated differently depending on whether or not guideline authors have conflicts of interest (1). In October 2014 I was elected President of the WFOT. I want to thank here the support of Dr. Lamberto Re, Professor Nabil Mawsof and Dr. Mark Weisser, that encouraged to me assume this task. Six society members and 20 individual members from 10 more countries were awaiting to grow. Our bylaws, written 9 years before, were not adapted to the current worldwide situation of the ozone therapy; even inside WFOT, some situations needed formalization, so updating the bylaws was a mandatory task.

Design and Modeling of an Interleaving Boost Converter with Quasi-Saturated Inductors for Electric Vehicles

This paper is focused on the analysis and modeling of DC-DC boost converters in interleaving configuration exploiting inductors in the quasi-saturation region. The converter is designed to optimize the power density by minimizing the size of the inductors. A simulation study for electric vehicle applications is conducted analyzing the effects of duty cycle and temperature variation on the ripple of the input current giving, moreover, information on the performances and dynamics of the converter for further implementation and optimizations.

Para ello he seleccionado a los 100 más destacados y he elaborado una serie de estadísticas con sus datos biográficos. La información la he extraído de la obra de Pirala, de otros trabajos sobre la Primera Guerra Carlista y de varias obras biográficas sobre jefes carlistas.
