Keskitymme artikkelissamme kolmeen Suomessakin hyvin tunnettuun luovaan terapiaan: musiikki-, kuvataide- ja tanssi-liiketerapiaan. Tarkastelunäkökulmana on ilmaisu, toisin sanoen se, miten näissä terapioissa perustellaan musiikillisen, kuvallisen ja liikkeellisen ilmaisun käyttöä terapeuttisessa vuorovaikutuksessa. Luovilla terapioilla on paljon yhteistä, ja ne kaikki suhtautuvat lähestymistavan taustalla olevaan taiteeseen samantyyppisesti. Taiteelliset ilmaisukielet nähdään ennen sanoja olevana, kokonaisvaltaisena kehon ja mielen aktivoijana. Ne stimuloivat, rikastavat ja monin tavoin hyödyttävät terapeuttista työskentelyä. Interaction between students and class teachers in vocational education and training: ‘Safety distance is needed’

Interaction between students and teachers is fundamental and has therefore been widely studied in education. However, there have been few studies on intensive spe-cial support being provided to vocational education and training (VET) students. Firstly, the focus of this article is on students’ perceptions of interactions with their class teachers. Students (aged 17–34 years) from four Finnish vocational institutions providing intensive special support were interviewed. Teachers’ professional agency in a centralisation-decentralisation system and a hierarchical cultural context : the case of Hong Kong

Teachers are frontline actors in actualising educational innovations. In some contexts, teachers’ professional agency is undervalued. This study investigated teachers’ agency and its related workplace affordances in Hong Kong, which features a centralised-decentralisation education governance system, and a hierarchical work culture. The study was based on 21 semi-structured interviews with teachers, and employed a deductive thematic analysis.
