Next-generation cophylogeny: unravelling eco-evolutionary processes

A fundamental question in evolutionary biology is how microevolutionary processes translate into species diversification. Cophylogeny provides an appropriate framework to address this for symbiotic associations, but historically has been primarily limited to unveiling patterns. We argue that it is essential to integrate advances from ecology and evolutionary biology into cophylogeny, to gain greater mechanistic insights and transform cophylogeny into a platform to advance understanding of interspecific interactions and diversification more widely. International audience; Scientific Information Systems aim to produce or improve knowledge on a subject through activities of research and development. The management of scientific dat a requires some essential properties. We propose SemLab an architecture that sup ports interoperability, data quality and extensibility through a unique paradigm: semantic annotation. We present two app lications that validate our architecture.

Project Managers (PMs) working in competitive markets are finding Project Management Information Systems (PMISs) useful for planning, organizing and controlling projects of varying complexity. A wide variety of PMIS software is available, suitable for projects differing in scope and user needs. This paper identifies the most useful features found in PMISs. An extensive literature review and analysis of commercial software is made to identify the main features of PMISs. An overview of research within the Genre and Multimodality framework

This review article provides an overview of the research conducted within the Genre and Multimodality framework, which has been used to describe the multimodality of page-based documents and other multimodal artefacts over the past 15 years. The article explicates the motivation and inspiration for developing the framework, introduces its central theoretical concepts and presents its applications across a number of case studies. Finally, the article discusses the criticism directed towards the model and identifies avenues of future development. peerReviewed
