The Decameroncino is an emblematic text, in the literary workshop of Capuana, of a constant research theoretical on the form of modern novella. The relationship exhibited with Boccaccio's work allows the writer of Mineo to institute a wise game of filming and overturning, woven with the double thread of counterpoint ironic. The organic system of the Decameron is remodeled in the sense of fragmentation. Through a fantastic restless and paradoxical, the narrative suspends criteria of deterministic realism to allude to complexity of the true and of the writing that figures it.
