Competition of coagulation sink and source rate: New particle formation in the Pearl River Delta of China

The coagulation sink and its role in new particle formation are investigated based on data obtained during the PRIDE-PRD2004 campaign at Xinken of Pearl River Delta, China. Analysis of size distributions and mode contributions of the coagulation sink show that the observed higher load of accumulation mode particles impose a significant effect on the coagulation sink and result in higher coagulation sinks at Xinken despite of the lower total particle number compared with other areas. Symmetry patterns in the (N, Delta) spectrum

We revise the role played by symmetry in the study of the low-lying baryon spectrum and comment on the difficulties when trying to generalize the symmetry pattern to higher energy states. We show that for the $(N,\Delta)$ part such a generalization is plausible allowing the identification of spectral regularities and the prediction of until now non-identified resonances.

The deuteron photodisintegration in the \ensuremath{\Delta}-resonance region is calculated within a unitary theory of the NN-N\ensuremath{\Delta}-\ensuremath{\pi}NN system coupled to the photon. The photoexcitation amplitude of the \ensuremath{\Delta} is deduced from the ${M}_{1+}$((3/2) pion photoproduction amplitude consistently with its background term and the \ensuremath{\pi}N interaction. The NN-N\ensuremath{\Delta} transition amplitude is obtained from the coupled equations for the NN-N\ensuremath{\Delta}-\ensuremath{\pi}NN system. Departamento Matematica Aplicada, Universidad de Valencia, Burjassot 46100, Spain.We propose a time evolution model for total-variation based blind deconvolution consisting of two evolution equations evolv-ing the signal by means of a nonlinear scale space method and the kernel by using a diffusion equation starting from the zerosignal and a delta function respectively. A preliminary numerical test consisting of blind deconvolution of a noiseless blurredimage is presented.

During pregnancy, they might affect maternal metabolic status and there after fetal development. In this work, we studied metabolic and redox effects of low dose alpha-cypermethrin exposure in pregnant rats and their offspring. The diet containing alpha cypermethrin at 0.02 mg/kg/day was consumed during the entire gestation. Plasma biochemical parameters as well as liver lipid and oxidative stress markers were determined.
