Sanomalehdistöllä on perinteisesti ollut Suomessa erittäin vahva asema. Un bassin extensif formé pendant la fonte de la calotte glaciaire hirnantienne : le bassin ordovico-silurien de Kandi (Nord Bénin, Sud Niger)

Le long de la bordure occidentale du bassin de Kandi, la sédimentation détritique continentale de base, correspondant à la formation de Wéré, est préservée dans des paléovallées limitées par des failles d'orientation moyenne N20°E, héritées de l'orogenèse panafricaine. Le remplissage sédimentaire de ces paléovallées est représenté par des dépôts conglomératiques et bréchiques de tills glaciaires marquant la base de la série, évoluant verticalement et latéralement vers l'Est à des grès fluviatiles. The conflict between work and family demands increased during the COVID-19 pandemic due to changes in lifestyle related to the lockdown. This study examines the associations between work-family conflict (WFC) and family-work conflict (FWC) with work-specific, family-specific, and well-being-related variables during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The results may be used in practice to improve the well-being of employees by adjusting home-based work and family areas of life to dynamic changes during the pandemic. Qualitative analysis of housing demand using Google trends data

Big data analytics often refer to the breakdown of huge amounts of data into a more readable and useful format. This study utilises Google Trends big data as a proxy for an analysis of housing demand. We employ a qualitative method (fuzzy set/Qualitative Comparative Analysis, fsQCA), instead of a quantitative method, for our estimate and forecast. The empirical results show that fsQCA successfully forecasts seasonal time series, even though the dataset is small in size. Our findings fill the gap in the qualitative and time series forecasting literature, and the forecasting procedure herein also offers a good standard for industry.

In the last decades, the Italian University System has encountered several structural reforms aimed at making it more internationally competitive. Among them, the introduction of the University financial autonomy has triggered an “internal” competition among Universities to attract students from the entire country. Background: Monitoring dietary habits is important in order to identify risk groups and as a basis for targeted public health initiatives. Objective: To study trends in consumption of selected foods and beverages from 2016 to 2019 amongst Norwegian adolescents according to gender and parental education. Design: Repeated cross-sectional study amongst 25,996 adolescents, aged 14–17 years old. Consumption of selected food and beverages was measured by an online food frequency questionnaire and general linear models were applied to estimate changes in dietary habits. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan akateemisen kentän muotoutumista ja varhaiskasvatuksen sisällöllistä määrittymistä. This phenomenological research examines democracy education and the conditions contributing to young students’ democratic agency. The dataset includes interview and observation data from a school and educational decision-makers. The findings from the iterative analysis highlight the contradictions between democracy education as an ideal and opportunities for democratic agency. One significant contradiction was the expectation that young pupils should be competent democratic agents before being offered opportunities to act democratically. The Finnish Government recently launched policies to meet labor shortage challenges, recruit highly skilled international workers. However, they overlook a skilled population already living in Finland, namely highly educated migrants. The problem is that migrants tend to be treated similarly, whether they are well-educated or not. This means that migrants are typically directed into low paying jobs.
