Polak Europejczyk z obawami
2017
„Polak Europejczyk z obawami” to tytuł artykułu na temat stopnia zakorzenienia poczucia tożsamości europejskiej w społeczeństwie polskim i szerzej w społeczeństwach Europy środkowo-wschodniej.
Perspectives on language use and pragmatics. A volume in memory of Sorin Stati.
2010
This volume is written in memory of Sorin Stati. The authors of this volume mainly deal with perspectives on language use and pragmatics. Each of them has his/her own approach, so the volume should not be taken as representing a single school of thought. Of course, the ideas expressed in all of the articles are reminiscent of Wittgenstein's position which privileged meaning as use. We use language to do many things, to give and to obtain, to persuade and to order, to interact and create human bonds.Words and sentences acquire meaning in context, thus a decontextualized approach must be delegitimized. What the authors in this collection do is to place emphasis on the power of context and cot…
Openness to interreligious dialogue – psychological antecedents and processes
2019
The Significance of Silent Moments in Creating Words for the Not-Yet-Spoken Experiences in Threat of Divorce
2015
In the context of couple therapy involving the threat of divorce, the study examined the significance of silent moments for arriving at words for the not-yet-spoken experiences. It also examined whether interactional and embodied synchrony occurred during such silent moments. A mixed method analysis was conducted, focusing on the therapeutic dialogue, psychophysiological data (the Autonomic Nervous System, ANS), and the participants’ thoughts and feelings during individual Stimulated Recall interviews. Two episodes containing several silent moments were analyzed. The analysis indicated that during the silent moments the participants continued the therapeutic conversations through their enti…
The role of the silent moments in relational conflict situation in multi-actor therapy dialogue
2015
Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli syventää hiljaisten hetkien merkitystä pariterapiassa keskusteltaessa parisuhdekonfliktista. Lisäksi tarkastelimme, löytyykö hiljaisten hetkien aikana synkroniaa osallistujien väliltä keskustelun ja kehon tasolla. Monimenetelmäinen tutkimuksemme keskittyi kolmeen tasoon: terapeuttiseen keskusteluun, psykofysiologisista mittareista (autonominen hermosto) saatuun informaatioon sekä osallistujien ajatuksiin ja tunteisiin SR- haastattelussa. Nämä mittarit analysoitiin ensin erikseen, jonka jälkeen niiden antama informaatio yhdistettiin. Tarkoituksena oli saada mahdollisimman luotettavaa tietoa hiljaisten hetkien merkityksestä parisuhdekonfliktin käsittelyssä.…
The Psychiatrist's Role in Implementing Open Dialogue Model of Care
2019
The Open Dialogue approach is a family‐oriented early intervention model for mental health problems developed in the health district of Western Lapland, Finland. Since the 1990s the psychiatric service system in Western Lapland Health Care District has been organised according to Open Dialogue principles and applied to the treatment of any mental health concerns. The Open Dialogue approach considers the client and their family as active participants rather than as objects of treatment in its planning and implementation with a psychotherapeutic focus. In daily work, the responsibility for the treatment process is shared with the case‐specific team. The model of care requires a dialogical ori…

Encuentro de saberes: Huellas de memoria pluriversa y descolonización de la Universidad contemporánea
2018
This paper studies the Encounter of Knowledge as a project that, by welcoming mestres and mestras of ancestral knowledge into universities, contributes to decolonize higher education, broadening its field of memory. Based on a systematization exercise, we established a theoretical dialogue with Bajtin and Bejamin. Based on the participation of four mestres -Lucely Pío, raicera del Cerrado, Mãe Lu and Tata Mutá Imé, religious leaders of Candomblé and the political leader and shaman Álvaro Tukano of the Tukano nation- we show how the project promotes in the contemporary Brazilian university a space of mnemic pluriversity, capable of activating diverse narrative planes (biographical, political…
School Staff-centered School Development by Communicative Action: Working Methods for Creating Collective Responsibility - From the Idea to Action
2020
School development is often seen as a concerted (re-)action to educational policies, curriculum development, and change in education laws or regulations, and sometimes, as stakeholders’ reactions to low school performance. Generally, school development incorporates organizational, managerial, and educational activities and measures. This is done to adapt to the new situation to achieve the desired changes and goals initiated by a given curriculum reform. In contrast, this paper focuses on school staff–driven development: It describes how teachers together with paraprofessionals contribute to school-development. Using collective responsibility creating working methods of communication, the e…
