Thanks to artificial vision algorithms, it does not require any human support to select and associate the framed PV modules to the corresponding ones in the topology of the photovoltaic plant. We present a method for calibrating a range finder system composed of a camera and a structured light source. The system is used to reconstruct the three-dimensional (3-D) surface of an object. This is achieved by projecting a pattern, represented by a set of regularly spaced spots, on the surface of the object using the structured light source. Improved locally adaptive least-squares detection of differences in images

We introduce a method for change detection under nonuniform changes of intensity using an improved least-squares method. A locally adaptive normalizing window is correlated with the two images, and a morphological postprocessing is then applied to isolate objects that have been added or removed from the scene. We use a modification of the least-squares solution to get rid of clutter caused by intensity changes that do not satisfy the model assumed for the least-squares solution.
