Lo studio esposto riguarda la sperimentazione sulle tecniche per il rilevamento e la rappresentazione di manufatti architettonici caratterizzati dalla presenza di una ricca decorazione scultorea. In particolare, è stata condotta una applicazione sulla parete di ingresso dell’Oratorio del SS. Rosario presso la chiesa di Santa Cita, nel centro storico di Palermo. This study proposes some reflections on the relationship between the Cathedral of Palermo and the urban portion where it is placed, in relation to the indissoluble connection with the landscape that in the history offered a variety of perceptive suggestions marked by the passage and the coexistence of different cultural and social domination. This study aims to evaluate the validity and reliability of the TRIOS3 Color intraoral scanner (3Shape A/S, Copenhagen, Denmark) and its associated Ortho Analyzer™ software in measuring parameters of smile aesthetics compared with measurements on plaster casts. The study sample comprised plaster casts and digital models obtained from 30 subjects. Height (H), mesiodistal diameter (MDD) and connecting space (CS) of the anterior teeth were measured with a digital calliper on the plaster models and with the orthodontic software on the digital models. In June 2015, the serial heritage site “Arab-Norman Palermo and the Cathedral Churches of Cefalù and Monreale” was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Maredolce Castle and the Scibene Palace, owing to the loss of original elements or due to problems of conservation and function, once resolved, cannot be part of the itinerary. This text proposes a new reading of the configuration of the sites of the monuments analysed. It looks at important moments in their history and represents the modifications made over time. Background: To determine the relationship between clinically significant tooth size discrepancies (TSD) and archform classification in orthodontic patients. Material and Methods: Two hundred and forty consecutive sets of pre-treatment orthodontic study models were scanned and landmarked. All models had permanent teeth erupted from first molar to first molar in both arches. Sixty sets of images were classified into two groups of 30 according to the presence (group 1) or absence (group 2) of a clinically significant overall or anterior TSD (>2 SD from Bolton’s original means).
