Tämä tutkimus tarkastelee suomalaisten populaarimusiikkiäänitteiden tuotantoprosesseja tuotantoteknologisesta näkökulmasta. Digitaalisen ääniteteknologian demokratisoitumisen myötä kotistudiotoiminta on Suomessa lisääntynyt merkittävästi 1990-luvulta lähtien. Tämän johdosta äänitteen työvaiheita tai kokonaisia valmiita äänitteitä tuotetaan nykyisin kotistudioissa enemmän kuin koskaan aiemmin. Digital technologies have become an inseparable part of most workplace activities. In this article, we discuss the study of digital work in the context of complex organizational practices. We lay out some methodological challenges and suggest some possible solutions to them. Firstly, we contend that we should take into consideration the multimedial nature of organizational practices. Digital Documenting Practices : Collaborative Writing in Workplace Training

The present article examines collaborative writing in organizational consulting and training, where writing takes place as part of a group discussion assignment and is carried out by using digital writing technologies. In the training, the groups use digital tablets as their writing device in order to document their answers in the shared digital platform. The development of digital pedagogy in early childhood education and care (ECEC) is a relevant issue. The role of the ECEC leader in initiating and leading the development of digital pedagogy is important. The aim of this study was to explore the views of ECEC leaders on digital pedagogy and its development, as little research has been done on the subject. The data was collected in the context of continuing professional development for ECEC leaders in Finland. AbstractA lack of social support can hinder older adults’ digital inclusion. This chapter examines the connection between social and digital inclusion by focusing on the process of acquiring social support for digital technology use among older adults in Finland. Building on the concept of warm expert, the chapter shows that acquiring support for digital technology use is a reciprocal process that both enhances and requires digital inclusion. A qualitative analysis of 22 participant-induced elicitation interviews was conducted with older adults aged between 57 and 89. Factors affecting shoot proliferation and vitrification inDigitalis obscura cultures

Variations of composition and consistency of the culture medium and time of exposure to growth regulators were assayed to optimize normal caulogenic response ofDigitalis obscura hypocotyls cultured in vitro. The effects of the culture conditions on physiologic changes related to vitrification of the regenerated plants were also investigated. Liquid medium increased the bud-forming capacity of the explants but induced buds failed to develop into shoots and showed symptoms of vitrification. On agar-solidified media, maximum multiplication rates were achieved with 0.7% agar. Increasing agar concentration reduced vitrification but lowered the propagation rate.
