Between 1838 and 1851 the most Catholic of Philippe Buchez's disciples, Henri-Robert Feugueray (1813-1854), tried to redefine the republican and working class tradition spreading the idea of the «République dans l'atelier» in his articles, published on Correspondant, Revue Nationale, L'Ere Nouvelle, Revue des Réformes et du Progrès. Shaping women's agency through temporality in "The life and activity of the holy and blessed teacher Syncletica"

The present article attempts to discuss the relationship between two female characters, Thecla and Syncletica, against the wider theoretical background of temporality as it was perceived and construed through literary texts. Syncletica is portrayed as a ‘disciple’ of Thecla. However, while the apocryphal Acts of Paul and Thecla appear to be pervaded with an eschatological expectation, the Life of Saint Syncletica shows signs of a different temporality. The detailed description of the whole life of Syncletica, with an emphasis on the course of illness, reveals a temporality more focused on the stages of life. Współczesny Kościół nawołuje wszystkich wiernych do podjęcia mentalnego nawrócenia, które ma polegać na uświadomieniu sobie na nowo swojej tożsamości i wypływającego z niej posłania do dzieła ewangelizacji. Jednym ze sposobów pastoralnego nawrócenia jest podjęcie pięciu kroków, które symbolizuje pierwszych pięć liter alfabetu: A, B, C, D, E. Aby stać się autentycznym ewangelizatorem, należy najpierw adorować Boga, modlić się, następnie być dla ludzi bratem i siostrą, starać się praktykować chrześcijańską caritas (miłość) i czuć się uczniem Jezusa. Dopiero wtedy, gdy te kroki będą podjęte, osoba wierząca stanie się z pomocą łaski Bożej autentycznym ewangelizatorem.

It is a common critical tradition to compare a Polish novel and a French one. The article attempts to examine this phenomenon and to State exactly what (or no) relations between both texts, by searching critical judgments of the time and by analyzing the same texts’ level. There are following parallels (typologically, but not genetically determined) to be confirmed: anti-positivist and idealistic attitude of both authors, which have seen their texts as manifestos of outlook ; an intertextual potency of the novels, close related to their hypo- and hypertexts; as well as several, although superficial similarities of stories’ plots. Obecność teoretycznych i metateoretycznych założeń współczesnej pedagogiki chrześcijańskiej w De catechizandis rudibus św. Augustyna

Celem artykułu jest zbadanie aktualności postulatów wychowawczych św. Augustyna, przedstawionych w rozprawie De catechizandis rudibus, napisanej około 400 r. W pierwszych dwóch częściach rozważań autor dokonał prezentacji metateoretycznych i teoretycznych założeń współczesnej pedagogiki chrześcijańskiej. Założenia te opracował Zespół Pedagogiki Chrześcijańskiej PAN w 2004 r. W części trzeciej założenia te zostały zrekonstruowane na podstawie postulatów wychowawczych zawartych w De catechizandis rudibus. Podejmowane przez św. Mowa eschatologiczna Jezusa w redakcji wszystkich trzech ewangelii synoptycznych kończy się wezwaniem do czuwania (zob. Mt 24,42-51; 25,13-15; Mk 13,33-37; Łk 21,34-36). Wezwanie to jest w Ewangelii św. Marka krótkie, a zarazem szczególnie intensywne. Zawiera w sobie zarówno konkluzję mowy eschatologicznej, a zarazem jej wymowne zwieńczenie z wyznaczeniem konkretnych zadań dla uczniów, którzy nie znając czasu wypełnienia się zapowiedzi końca czasów, otrzymują zadanie szczególnej czujności. Krótka, ale wymowna przypowieść o Panu domu który, opuszczając na pewien czas swój dom, wyznaczył każdemu obowiązki, zawiera istotne zadanie odźwiernego czuwającego w oczekiwaniu na powrót Pana.
