Development discourses of the low human development index : countries in UN post-2015 discussion

This study is about development discourses and agents of the countries with low Human Development Index (HDI) in Africa. It is based on six UN Post-2015 national consultations. These six nations are Burkina Faso, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Liberia and Zambia. The criteria of data selection involve the level of HDI, language, format of the report and geographical location. The material in this survey includes some historical background, general features, state-of-the-art applications together with a critical discussion about current limitations and suggestions for future developments.

ZIMMERMANN: Let me begin the panel discussion on Data Analysis Trends in X-ray and Gamma-ray astronomy by first introducing the panel members. These are from the left to the right: Roland Diehl, Ethan Schreier, Rosolino Buccheri, Livio Scarsi, Jean-Marc Chassery and Wolfgang Voges. With the exception of Jean-Marc Chassery, who is an expert on image processing and statistical analysis, all the others have longer experience in the X-ray and Gamma-ray fields. May I ask the speakers to keep their contributions to not more than five minutes, in order to allow ample room for discussion with the audience.

In Spain, within the framework of the Strategy 2015, the implementation of scholarships, grants and wages especially adapted to the new situation of the European Higher Education, intended to ensure access to university education to those most disadvantaged social groups economically. This research makes an ex post facto, descriptive-comparative aimed at assessing the impact of the grant salary, as an economic factor, on equity, access and academic performance in the first year of college. Three dimensions of dialogicity are emphasised in the literature: dialogic teacher talk, students' dialogic moves and organising for dialogic teaching. In this article, we examine these dimensions and the interplay between them in supporting dialogic argumentation in the context of whole-class discussions in mathematics and physics. Three seemingly different seventh-grade lessons were selected for further analysis from the database of a research project on dialogic argumentation. [ES] Este artículo analiza la experiencia realizada durante tres años con objeto de complementar la enseñanza del Derecho del trabajo con el uso del cine como material bibiográfico y sus resultados. En la experiencia se propuso una película por cada tema del programa académico de la asignatura de Derecho del trabajo (I) y también de la asignatura Políticas sociolaborales, ocupación e igualdad. Los resultados han sido positivos siendo el material cinemátográfico una ayuda significativa a la comprensión de conceptos complejos y su retención en el tiempo.
