Structure of longitudinal chromomagnetic fields in high energy collisions

2014

We compute expectation values of spatial Wilson loops in the forward light cone of high-energy collisions. We consider ensembles of gauge field configurations generated from a classical Gaussian effective action as well as solutions of high-energy renormalization group evolution with fixed and running coupling. The initial fields correspond to a color field condensate exhibiting domain-like structure over distance scales of order the saturation scale. At later times universal scaling emerges at large distances for all ensembles, with a nontrivial critical exponent. Finally, we compare the results for the Wilson loop to the two-point correlator of magnetic fields.

Ahlfors-regular distances on the Heisenberg group without biLipschitz pieces

2015

We show that the Heisenberg group is not minimal in looking down. This answers Problem 11.15 in `Fractured fractals and broken dreams' by David and Semmes, or equivalently, Question 22 and hence also Question 24 in `Thirty-three yes or no questions about mappings, measures, and metrics' by Heinonen and Semmes. The non-minimality of the Heisenberg group is shown by giving an example of an Ahlfors $4$-regular metric space $X$ having big pieces of itself such that no Lipschitz map from a subset of $X$ to the Heisenberg group has image with positive measure, and by providing a Lipschitz map from the Heisenberg group to the space $X$ having as image the whole $X$. As part of proving the above re…

The REFLEX galaxy cluster survey VIII. Spectroscopic observations and optical atlas

2009

We present the final data from the spectroscopic survey of the ROSAT-ESO Flux-Limited X-ray (REFLEX) catalog of galaxy clusters. The REFLEX survey covers 4.24 steradians (34% of the entire sky) below a declination of 2.5 deg and at high Galactic latitude (|b| > 20 deg). The REFLEX catalog includes 447 entries with a median redshift of 0.08 and is better than 90% complete to a limiting flux fx = 3x10^{-12} erg s^{-1} cm^{-2} (0.1 to 2.4 keV), representing the largest statistically homogeneous sample of clusters drawn from the ROSAT All-Sky Survey (RASS) to date. Here we describe the details of the spectroscopic observations carried out at the ESO 1.5 m, 2.2 m, and 3.6 m telescopes, as wel…

Ureteru akmeņu endoskopiskās ārstēšanas iespējas

2016

2019

Teorētiskās daļas nobeigumā autors apraksta imobilizācijas iespējas un to funkcionalitāti distances staru terapijā. Pētniecība…

Ātro kredītu popularitāte jauniešu vidū Latvijā

2018

Bakalaura darba tēma “Ātro kredītu popularitāte jauniešu vidū Latvijā”. Latvijas jauniešu vidū ir izveidojušas iedzīvotāju finansiālās problēmas finanšu pratības nepietiekama līmeņa dēļ. Bakalaura darba “Ātro kredītu popularitāte jauniešu vidū” mērķis ir izpētīt ātro kredītu popularitāti jauniešu vidū Latvijā. Izmantojot jaunākos datus, izpētīt kāda ir faktiskā situācija Latvijas nebanku kredītu sektorā, distances kredītu izmantošanas biežumu Latvijas jauniešu vidū. Izpētīt iemeslus, kas mudina Latvijas jauniešus izmantot ātros kredītus, uzzināt to pieredzi aizņemšanās un atmaksas laikā. Noskaidrot faktisko situāciju Latvijas jauniešu darba tirgū, jauniešu bezdarba līmeņa aktuālo statusu, s…
