Kognitīvo izkropļojumu saistība ar Es-koncepciju

Pētījuma jautājumi: Kādas saistības pastāv starp dažādu kognitīvo izkropļojumu veidu izmantošanu un Es-koncepciju? Vai pastāv dzimumatšķirības kognitīvo izkropļojumu veidu izmantošanas biežumā/izteiktībā un Es-koncepcijas rādījumos? Vai un kā Es-koncepcijas un kognitīvo izkroplojumu izmantošanas biežuma saistības atšķiras sieviešu un vīriešu grupās? Distortion product otoacoustic emissions in healthy newborns: normative data.

Distortion product otoacoustic emissions (DPOAE) offer an alternative to transiently evoked otoacoustic emissions (TEOAE) as an audiological test. The former can be used as a screening technique, and may also provide frequency-specific information about the functional state of the cochlea. We recorded DPOAE in a group of healthy newborns to establish the Characteristics of a DPOAE “audiogram” (DP-gram) in this population. The DP-gram can be obtained with characteristics quite similar to those observed in adults, with two sharp peaks of maximum amplitude at F2 frequencies of 2 kHz and 5-6 kHz, and a decline in DPOAE amplitude in mid frequencies. Emociju regulācijas saistība ar kognitīvajām pārliecībām

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas saistības pastāv starp emociju regulācijas stratēģijām un kognitīvajām pārliecībām (un identificēt šīs saistības). Tika izvirzīts pētījuma jautājums: Kā emociju regulācijas stratēģijas ir saistītas ar kognitīvajām pārliecībām? Pētījumā tika izmantotas trīs aptaujas - Kognitīvo izkropļojumu skala (Cognitive Distortions Scale (CDS), Covin et. al., 2011), Negatīvo pārliecību skala (Inventory of Cognitive Distortions (ICD), Roberts, 2015) un Emociju regulācijas aptauja (Emotion regulation questionnaire (ERQ), Gross & John, 2003). Traceability of static reactive energy meters in the presence of harmonics: theoretical considerations and a DAQ-based reference meter

This paper deals with some problems related to the measurements traceability with static meters for reactive energy. These problems arise when the meters operate in the presence of harmonics, which can negatively affect their performances, depending on implemented metric. The paper analyzes the problem in the light of both in-force and draft standards, from the viewpoint of the performances of both commercial meters and reference standard instruments. The analysis is supported by some experimental tests, which are carried out by means of a reference meter, based on data acquisition boards, which can be used in both sinusoidal and distorted conditions.

On the calibration of reactive energy meters under non sinusoidal conditions

This paper is focused on the problems related to the calibration of the reactive energy meters on the place of installation of the electricity meter (on-site), using the load of the same electrical system. In the presence of harmonic distortion, the behaviour of the meters can go out of the limits imposed by the theoretical calibration curve depending on the metric used by both reference standard meters and meters under test.

Asymptotic Hölder regularity for the ellipsoid process

We obtain an asymptotic Hölder estimate for functions satisfying a dynamic programming principle arising from a so-called ellipsoid process. By the ellipsoid process we mean a generalization of the random walk where the next step in the process is taken inside a given space dependent ellipsoid. This stochastic process is related to elliptic equations in non-divergence form with bounded and measurable coefficients, and the regularity estimate is stable as the step size of the process converges to zero. The proof, which requires certain control on the distortion and the measure of the ellipsoids but not continuity assumption, is based on the coupling method.

We report a technique to estimate eye aberrations, based mainly on the subjective crossed-cylinder method. In order to obtain accurate coordinates of cross sections of the aberration distorted grid image on the retinal plane, needed in subjective methods, fusion of two images is used. The paper investigates the suitability of using power ratio parameters for harmonic emissions assessment at the point of common coupling (PCC). The study is carried out starting from the IEEE Std. 1459-2010 apparent power decomposition, where power factors are defined for evaluating line utilization and harmonic pollution levels. In addition, the study investigates the behavior of new parameters, which are expressed in terms of ratio between IEEE Std. 1459-2010 power quantities.
