The present study aimed to evaluate the characteristics and quality of statistical methodology used in clinical studies on dentin hypersensitivity management. An electronic search was performed for data published from 2009 to 2014 by using PubMed, Ovid/MEDLINE, and Cochrane Library databases. The primary search terms were used in combination. Eligibility criteria included randomized clinical trials that evaluated the efficacy of desensitizing agents in terms of reducing dentin hypersensitivity. Transmission of knowledge in Venetian fourteenth-century chronicles

The doctoral thesis analyzes eight Venetian chronicles written c. 1340–1390. It looks into the transmission of these texts by examining their mutual relationships and by reconstructing the textual tradition of individual works. The research was conducted by using the book historical method in which an individual volume is examined from the perspective of textual history, its physical features and ownership history to give a global view of its genesis and functions. The method combines textual criticism and comparative textual analysis with codicological and palaeographical research. Nuestro objetivo es ana lizar las obras que incorporan escenas animadas para representar la dictadura chilena y profundizar en la convergencia entre animación, documental y memoria. The objective of this article is to analyse methodological principles in studies that link the construction of memory with decolonisation. Based on two decolonial approaches, the colonial and epistemic difference, a comparative study of collaborative research on memory in Latin America was carried out. This analysis contributes to the conceptual-critical reflection of the construction of memory in a decolonial framing and presents through innovative methodologies meaning shifts of official narratives. In conclusion, it proposes the integration of the territorial dimension and the subjectivity of the participants and their communities as a way of transformation towards peaceful societies

Tietojärjestelmien suunnittelumenetelmiä kehitetään ja sovitetaan usein intuitiivisesti ja improvisoiden. Vaarana on, että näin syntyy vaikeasti ymmärrettäviä, tehottomasti sovitettavia ja huonosti soveltuvia suunnittelumenetelmiä. Improvisoivalle menetelmäkehitykselle on usein ominaista myös suurempi resurssitarve. Syynä tälle tilanteelle on se, että menetelmäkehitykseltä puuttuu kunnollinen menetelmätuki.
